The Chinese spirit,as a powerful spiritual force for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and national rejuvenation,is also an important resource for enhancing the spiritual realm of the Chinese people.As the future builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,high school students are of great significance in improving their ideological and moral standards,establishing and improving their personality,and strengthening their Chinese spiritual education.The "Music Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" requires music teachers to enhance students’ sense of national pride and self-esteem,strengthen cultural confidence,and cultivate students’ patriotism in cultivating their core music literacy.Patriotic songs,due to their rich Chinese spirit,are an important resource for educating students on the Chinese spirit.The paper explores the cultivation of Chinese spirit among high school students from the perspective of music education.It proposes to base the cultivation of Chinese spirit on ordinary music classrooms,enrich music teaching resources with Chinese spirit,enable students to improve their ideological and moral levels while improving their core music literacy,and play the moral education function of music education.This enables high school music courses to cultivate people with music,better practice the fundamental task of cultivating morality,and serve the development of quality education.The paper is divided into seven parts: The first part is an introduction,which discusses the reasons for the topic selection,research purpose and significance,research review,research methods,and innovations.It summarizes the research trends and innovation points at home and abroad,laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent research;The second part is the theoretical interpretation of patriotic songs and the Chinese spirit.By defining the concepts of patriotic songs and the Chinese spirit,the connection between patriotic songs and the Chinese spirit is analyzed;The third part is a case study and analysis of the implementation of patriotic song teaching in schools.This part discusses the current situation of classroom teaching and textbook analysis in the research school.Starting from the survey results,it elaborates on the problems in patriotic song teaching and the classification and characteristics of patriotic songs in the music textbooks used by the school,laying the foundation for the lesson design and teaching practice exploration in subsequent chapters;The fourth part is the teaching strategies and approaches for cultivating the Chinese spirit through patriotic songs.Based on the above investigation and research,classroom teaching,and textbook analysis,the teaching strategies for patriotic songs that are suitable for the school’s academic situation and the ways to cultivate the Chinese spirit are discussed;The fifth part is based on the investigation of the situation of school students,designing patriotic song teaching examples and exploring the implementation of cultivating Chinese spirit teaching;The sixth part is aimed at the problems discovered during the research process and the suggestions for teaching patriotic songs;The seventh part is the conclusion,which outlines the effectiveness of patriotic songs in cultivating students’ Chinese spirit,and the direction that future patriotic song teaching should strive for.
