Pop songs,like all popular things,spread to every corner of the society with the trend of the times,and also entered the life of middle school students with an irresistible trend,which has an inevitable impact on the current middle school music teaching.These make music teachers on the front line reflect with the times on how to integrate pop songs into classroom teaching,to guide them according to the situation not only to follow the syllabus,but also to consider students' preferences and to prepare good music lessons with teaching methods and learning benefits.There is no doubt that the music class of junior middle school students must be changed with the progress of the times,and the old teaching content must also be reasonably supplemented from the perspective of psychology.We have found that in quite a long period of time in the past,there is a gap between the content of singing in junior middle school music class and students' interest.Fortunately,our teachers have begun to take action and are gradually finding a breakthrough from the new music culture to complete the convergence of this problem.Therefore,the research on the introduction of pop songs into junior middle school music class also has a continuous research significance.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire survey,theoretical analysis and other research methods are used to explore the current situation,feasibility and practice of the introduction of pop songs into the classroom.The full text is divided into four parts.The preface mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,research methods,literature review and related concepts;The second part first describes the concept and development of pop music,then discusses the status of pop songs in junior middle school classroom,and discusses the feasibility of pop songs entering junior middle school classroom from two aspects of policy guidance and music development;The third part takes No.1 Junior Middle School in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone as an example,in which the author is a music teacher.We summarize the survey results and draw a conclusion after interviews with teachers there and the questionnaire to students.The survey results show that teachers are worried or agree with the feasibility of introducing pop songs into junior middle school music class,while most students are looking forward to it.Finally,the third part analyzes the current situation from the aspects of teachers,students' psychology and teaching materials;The fourth part analyzes and summarizes the key and difficult points of popular songs teaching in the classroom and chorus rehearsal.At last there is the conclusion.At present,due to various reasons,the content of the application of pop songs in junior middle school classroom and the practical lessons of pop songs are not enough,which poses a challenge for us front-line music teachers.It's true that we can cope with the situation with no change,but our original intention and mission do not allow us to be lazy.The educational ideas and programs in the new era require us to base ourselves on the educational position,enrich the educational steps and teaching contents,form the educational joint force,and boost the all-round development of students.Some people think that the influence of pop songs on students is a small problem and whether it is a fuss to introduce it into junior middle school music class as a teaching content.I do not agree.A Chinese sages Xunzi said,"if you don't accumulate small steps,you can't reach thousands of miles;if you don't accumulate small streams,you can't become a river or a sea." So I think we should have a positive attitude to solve problems if we find them instead of having a laissez-faire attitude.Middle school students' lack of interest in the singing content of traditional music class has affected the implementation of teaching and the guarantee of quality.If we still turn a deaf ear and do not pay attention to it,we will be ashamed of the mission of teaching.Therefore,I think the research of introducing pop songs into junior middle school music classroom has always been a very important part of the research of music education in primary and secondary schools in our country,which is closely followed by the tide of our country's pop music creation and middle school music education research.The author's original intention of writing this article is to attract the attention of colleagues and to work together with the majority of teachers engaged in music teaching in primary and secondary schools to study,practice and create pop songs,thus to promote the application of pop songs in junior middle school teaching practice,and to achieve a new purpose.
