| The novel is the treasure of human spiritual culture,is rich in human thought food nutrition.Since ancient times,both at home and abroad,a large number of excellent novels have been born.To interpret it is a spiritual feast.In contemporary teaching,in order to cultivate students’ ability to appreciate beauty and improve their spiritual level,novels have always existed in our Chinese teaching from primary school to junior high school.With the revision of Chinese textbooks,the country has new requirements for the cultivation of talents.One of the performances is that the requirements for Chinese reading ability have been greatly strengthened.The amount of students’ extracurricular reading is also gradually increasing.Primary school has happy reading bar,junior high school has a famous book guide.Novels account for half of these books.Teachers teach students reading methods,cultivate their ability to read and appreciate novels,and students construct their outlook on life,world and values through reading.But now the novel teaching is basically around the novel "character,environment,plot" three elements,although students can learn the knowledge of the relevant text,but the cultivation of students’ reading ability has not been greatly improved,for in addition to the plot of the deeper thought,meaning,students are difficult to grasp and comprehend.In the novel teaching,from teachers to students are lack of relevant practical and effective theoretical methods.Narratology is one of the important theories of modern text research.The introduction of narratology theory into the classroom of novel teaching not only provides new ideas for Chinese classroom to read and understand novels,but also enhances students’ interest in learning novels.Based on the related theories of narratology,this paper makes a case study on the application of narratology in middle school novel teaching. |
