When it comes to curriculum reform in China,the hottest topic is curriculum resources.As a very important part of curriculum resources,the development and application of local curriculum resources not only help to promote a new round of basic curriculum reform,but also promote the development and progress of high school history education.In the process of using such curriculum resources,it can effectively improve students’ thinking ability and practical ability,so that students can understand the local history and culture while enhancing their sense of belonging and identity to the motherland and hometown.This paper will take the No.1 Middle School of Yongxiu County,Jiujiang City,Jiangxi Province as a platform to conduct research on the application of local curriculum resources in high school history teaching.This article will expand on the following six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the background of the selected topic,the significance of the research,the current status of research in academia,the theoretical basis used,and the research methods and innovation points.The significance of this research is to explore the obstacles encountered in the application of local curriculum resources in the process of high school history teaching,and on this basis,some practical strategies and methods are proposed to improve the quality of high school history teaching and students’ enthusiasm for learning history.In addition,the application of local curriculum resources can also help promote the humanistic construction of history teaching,enhance students’ sense of identity and belonging to their hometown and nation,and promote the inheritance of excellent culture.The second part mainly describes the concept of local curriculum resources and analyzes the value of local curriculum resources.The third part mainly describes the main categories of vernacular curriculum resources and the overview of vernacular curriculum resources in Yongxiu area.The fourth part mainly describes the investigation of the application of rural curriculum resources in Yongxiu No.1 Middle School,the problems that arise and the analysis of the causes.The fifth part mainly describes and demonstrates the development and practical application of local curriculum resources in history education and teaching,combines local resources with teaching content to the greatest extent,and carries out the practical activities of second classroom teaching.Increase students’ understanding of their hometown and enhance their ability to transfer historical knowledge.The last chapter summarizes and thinks about this paper,and suggests the application of local curriculum resources from the dimensions of school,teachers and society.Teachers should dare to innovate,schools should fully support,and relevant departments should actively cooperate so that local curriculum resources can be optimally applied to high school history classroom teaching.
