With the rapid development of the information age,the concept of TPACK was introduced by the term PCK in 2005 by Kohler,Michel and others,in which the element of technological knowledge was added,which has an important significance for the development of domestic pre-service physical education teachers.Pre-service physical education teachers,as the talent pool of physical education majors in teacher training colleges,have an integral role in teacher professional development by incorporating TPACK theory in the pre-service physical education teacher stage.Studies have been conducted to derive TPACK development strategies and recommendations for the development of pre-service teachers in different disciplines;therefore,it is necessary to understand and study the current situation and influencing factors of TPACK development of pre-service physical education teachers in different types of teacher training colleges and universities to promote the current situation of teacher education to improve the TPACK level of pre-service physical education teachers.The study used literature,questionnaire,Delphi method,interview method,and mathematical and statistical methods.Based on the Schmit scale into revision,teacher training colleges were divided into four types to investigate the current status of TPACK development of pre-service physical education teachers and the factors influencing it.The results showed that on the gender factor,female students had higher levels than male students on PK,CK,and TK dimensions(P<0.05);TPACK levels were generally higher in the world high level schools;there was variability between the group comparisons on TK,TPK,TCK,and TPCK dimensions(P<0.05);there was(P<0.05).The training objectives,curriculum,and graduation requirements of each school showed that pre-service physical education teachers had lower IT levels and poorer IT integration teaching and subject knowledge skills.Conclusions of the study: 1.the overall level of TPACK of pre-service physical education teachers in different types of teacher training colleges was moderate to high,and the general level of TK,TCK,TPK,and TPACK dimensions of pre-service physical education teachers was not high.2.The demographic factor of gender has an impact on the TPACK level of pre-service physical education teachers in different types of teacher training colleges;the training objectives,curriculum,and graduation requirements of different types of teacher training colleges mainly focus on CK,PK,and PCK;World-class schools focus more on integrating technical knowledge into subject matter and pedagogical knowledge than other types of schools.3.the development of information technology courses,curriculum implementation,student evaluation criteria,and information technology teaching practices have an impact on the TPACK levels of pre-service physical education teachers in different types of teacher training institutions.
