| Creative tendency is an important part of individual creativity.The development of creative tendency in early childhood can lay a foundation for the development of creativity in the whole life of children,and thus form a stable creative personality.Most previous studies on creative tendency focus on teenagers,focus on creative personality quality,and investigate the influence of individual factors and environmental factors on it.However,there are few studies on children’s creative tendency.Children in the 5-6 year old class have active thinking,which is a stage of rapid creative development and also a critical period of autonomy development.It is very important to study the development characteristics and influencing factors of creative tendency at this stage.Children’s creative development is affected by various comprehensive factors,including physiology,temperament,environment and so on.Among them,environment is an important influencing factor.Family is the main environment for children’s growth and development,and parents are important people who affect children’s development.Different parenting styles have a subtle influence on the formation of children’s cognition and behavior habits.This study focuses on the influence of parenting style on children’s creative tendency and the role of children’s autonomy between them.In this study,445 parents of young children were investigated by questionnaire,which included basic information of parents,parenting style,autonomy of young children and creative tendency of young children.The collected information was analyzed to explore the status quo and relationship between parenting style,autonomy of young children and creative tendency of young children,and then analyzed and discussed.Parents with high creativity scores and low creativity scores were selected for interviews based on the analysis results,and their children were asked to complete creative picture creation,so as to explore other factors affecting children’s creative development.Among the findings:(1)The parenting style of children in big class is more scientific,democratic parenting style gets the highest score,authoritarian parenting style gets the second score,doting parenting style and free capricious parenting style have little difference,and both are lower than inconsistent parenting style.There are significant differences in the number of children,parents’ age,parents’ monthly income and parents’ educational background,while there are no significant differences in urban and rural areas and children’s gender.(2)The creative tendency of senior class children is above the average level,and there are significant differences in urban and rural areas,number of children,gender of children,and monthly income of parents;There was no significant difference in the gender of children,the type of kindergarten and the number of children.There is no significant difference in the development of children’s creative tendency in terms of parents’ age and educational background.(3)The level of children’s autonomy development is good,and there are significant differences in urban and rural areas,educational background of parents and age of parents,while there are no significant differences in the number of children,gender of children and monthly income of parents.(4)Democratic parenting style has a significant positive correlation with the development of children’s autonomy and creative tendency,and there is a significant positive correlation between children’s autonomy and the development of children’s creative tendency.(5)Autocratic,indulgent,indulgent and inconsistent parenting style can negatively predict children’s autonomous development and creative tendency development.The autonomy of large class children can significantly and positively predict the development of children’s creative tendency.(6)Infant autonomy has a partial mediating effect on parenting style,each dimension and creative tendency of infants.Based on the analysis results of questionnaire survey and interviews with parents of young children,this study found that parents of creative children with low scores showed more autocratic or indulging and capricious parenting styles,lacked emotional support and interaction with children,or imposed their own will on children,restricted their autonomy and controlled their thoughts.Children’s creative imagination is weak,like imitation,dare not take risks,dare not challenge novel things;In terms of autonomy,children are dependent on their parents,afraid to express their own opinions,and have problems such as conformity mentality and ingratiating personality.The parents of creative children with high scores show more democracy in parenting style,provide full emotional support and interaction with children,and respect children’s ideas;Children show rich imagination,bold innovation,courage to take risks and try,and strong challenge and persistence in creativity;In terms of children’s autonomy,they demonstrate the ability to independently complete tasks,have the courage to express their opinions,are not afraid of failure,and are proactive and proactive.Based on family education,home cooperation,and social support,this study puts forward specific suggestions in order to give full play to the influence of parenting style on children’s creativity and autonomy. |
