| The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress pointed out that "education,science and technology,and human resources are the basic and strategic support for comprehensively building a modern socialist country." At the same time,the promulgations of the new curriculum standards lead educators to shift their focus from subjects to students,and carry out the "core quality" oriented education view,curriculum view and teaching view update.How to truly implement the cultivation of scientific literacy and core literacy and cultivate innovative talents has become an urgent problem to be solved.HPS is the English acronym of "History of Science","Philosophy of science" and "Sociology of science".It aims to combine the history of science,philosophy of science and sociology of science in order to improve students’ understanding of the nature of science and establish correct scientific concepts,which is highly consistent with the concept of education and value concept under the new curriculum reform.On the basis of national conditions,the introduction of HPS teaching model and the development of HPS teaching framework and resources not only conform to the development trend of international education,but also provide feasible programs for the cultivation of core literacy.This study aims to develop a HPS instructional design framework and teaching cases for HPS teaching practice based on literature review and questionnaire survey.The study is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which is used to clarify the research background,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research content and methods.The second chapter is the core concept and theoretical basis.It defines the concepts of HPS education,core literacy of chemistry and scientific literacy,and expounds the theoretical basis of constructivism,humanism and scientific essence view.The third chapter is a survey of the current situation of HPS teaching.A survey of teachers and students is conducted to gain an accurate understanding of HPS teaching and to furnish a basis for the subsequent development plan.The fourth chapter is the development of high school chemistry HPS teaching resources under the guidance of literacy.Based on the curriculum standard and textbooks,it comprehensively compares the existing HPS teaching model,develops the high school chemistry HPS teaching framework,and expounds the case.The fifth chapter is about HPS teaching practice.For a semester,the teaching effect of HPS is explored by evaluating achievement,accomplishment and interview through the selection of an experimental class and control class for practice.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and reflection,refining the research conclusions and summarizing the deficiencies in the research.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey between teachers and students,the assessment data of student achievement and accomplishment,and the interview records of students,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)HPS teaching model is consistent with the value orientation of the teaching concept of the new curriculum standard.(2)HPS teaching model has a remarkable effect on improving scientific literacy and core literacy.(3)Enhancing students’ chemistry learning aptitude is made possible through the utilization of HPS teaching mode.(4)Teachers and students recognize the value of HPS teaching model,but there are still difficulties in carrying out HPS teaching model.In order to better apply HPS teaching model to high school chemistry teaching and effectively implement the requirements of new curriculum reform,it is suggested that schools scientifically optimize curriculum arrangement,provide time and space for scientific expansion,regularly carry out teacher education training,and provide a platform for teachers to update their educational concepts and teaching methods.Teachers themselves should have the courage to explore and innovate,actively respond to curriculum reform and put into practice. |
