Research On The Influence Of Short Videos On College Students’ Values And Guiding Countermeasures

Short video is a new type of video of about five minutes in length,which relies on intelligent terminals to combine text,music and images for filming and uploading,editing and beautifying,and forwarding and sharing.It profoundly affects the formation and development of college students’ values.The positive aspects of the influence of short videos on college students’ values are mainly manifested in the strengthening of college students’ value perceptions through comprehensive network resources,the establishment of correct value orientation by positive role models and the realization of college students’ self-worth through short video education content;in contrast,the negative aspect is the influence of short video content generalization,information fragmentation,"filter bubble" decentralization and "opinion leaders" on the formation and development of college students’ values.The main reasons for the negative influence of short videos on college students’ values are the relatively weak management of short videos by the government,the relatively insufficient self-control of short video platforms,the weak emphasis and construction of short videos by universities,and the role of college students’ internal factors.The four central bodies of government,platform,university and individual form a joint effort to protect the formation and development of correct values of college students.Firstly,the government should strengthen governance to create a transparent short video environment.First,improve the laws and regulations of short videos,and do an excellent job of policy protection;second,the relevant departments to strengthen supervision and do an excellent job of the "gatekeeper" role;third,focus on the demands of college students,give full play to the leading power.Secondly,the platform and creators should work in the same direction to create quality content.First,the short video platform improves the mechanism to strengthen the sense of responsibility;second,the creator plays a positive energy to enhance the understanding of personal responsibility.Thirdly,universities should optimize the cultivation path and strengthen the guidance of correct values.The first is to guard the main battlefield of Civics courses to improve the education of socialist core values;the second is to build the main channel of classroom teaching to occupy a new position of values education;the third is to grasp the main force of teachers to do an excellent job of guiding students’ values.Fourthly,college students strengthen selfeducation and play a positive role in short videos.First,enhance the ideological level and firm ideals and beliefs;second,improve the ability to discriminate and make correct judgments;third,strengthen the sense of self-discipline and avoid the risk of getting lost.
