A Study On Social Integration Of Elderly People Living Alone In Cities Through Case Work Interventio

With the further deepening of the aging of the population in my country,the traditional family structure has changed,the family size has been reduced,and special groups such as "elderly living alone" have emerged.Living alone has different degrees of impact on the physical and mental health of the elderly,testing the social expectations of "healthy" aging,and the ability and willingness of children to support their children,and family economic conditions are also important factors affecting their life satisfaction.Compared with the elderly who live alone,the elderly living alone are more likely to suffer from loneliness and depression,be troubled in psychological,physical and social support levels,and fall into the predicament of social integration.While giving full play to the advantages of government and community policies and resources,social work should also give full play to its professional advantages and take the initiative to intervene.This paper takes the elderly living alone in the S community in Chongqing as the service object,and analyzes the influencing factors of social integration of the elderly living alone from four dimensions: economic life,social interaction,community belonging,and psychological integration.Through preliminary field investigations and visits,comprehensively analyze the social integration status of the elderly living alone in different dimensions,and according to practical needs,select two elderly living alone with relatively complex problems as case service objects,and deeply explore the social,family,Personal and other reasons,provide them with highly targeted and differentiated case services,and try to find effective ways and professional methods to solve problems.Finally,through the comparative analysis of the problems of the two cases and the practical process,we reflect on the effectiveness and deficiencies of the case work in the practice process of the elderly living alone,provide reference for social work practice,and enrich the practical content of social work.
