The Impact Of Population Mobility On Regional Economic Disparit

Our country has a vast territory and rich resources,but the problem of unbalanced economic and social development between regions is more prominent.The report pointed out that regional coordinated development should be promoted and regional coordinated development strategies and major regional strategies should be implemented.Regional economy is the foundation of national economy and an important support for realizing national strategies and goals.As an active factor of production,population plays an important role in market economy.The flow of population will promote the optimal allocation of various social resources,and then promote the overall planning and coordination of regional economic development.This paper takes the floating population of Shandong Province as the research perspective and studies the impact of population flow on regional economic disparity.First,make clear the background,significance,research content and method of the topic;Secondly,the literature and relevant theories about population mobility and regional economic development at home and abroad were reviewed to lay a theoretical foundation for the empirical study.Thirdly,the current situation of population flow and economic development in Shandong Province is analyzed,and the correlation between floating population and economic development is further analyzed.Finally,the empirical analysis of population flow in Shandong Province to expand or narrow the regional economic gap,based on the empirical conclusions put forward constructive suggestions and measures.This paper calculates that population flow has a high grey correlation to economic development in Shandong province through grey relational analysis.On this basis,with the floating population of prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province as the core explanatory variable,stata16.0 measurement software was used to analyze the spatial fixed effect model.The results showed that the floating population and economic gap presented an inverted "U" shaped relationship,and the floating population would eventually narrow the regional economic gap and promote the coordinated development of regions.From the perspective of spatial effect,population flow finally has equalizing economic effect.Human capital will narrow the economic gap in Shandong Province.To this end,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions: rationally guide the interregional population flow,improve the efficiency of labor allocation;improving the quality of the population;to construct a scientific and rational population policy;increasing the urbanization rate;adjusting the industrial structure and optimizing the allocation of resources.
