Cultivating high-quality teacher is an important task for the development of national education.As an important reserve of teachers,teachers’ professional identity of normal university students has been widely concerned by scholars.As an important link in the training system of normal education,educational practice is the key point of the application of theory to practice,and also an important process affecting the professional identity of normal university students.This paper explores the influence of educational practice on the professional identity of normal university students,and gives suggestions to optimize educational practice according to the analysis conclusions,to improve the quality of primary education professional practice and the professional identity of normal university students.In this study,the author investigated the teachers’ professional identity of 182 primary education majors in 2019 in S University before and after their education practice by means of questionnaire survey and interview.Among them,14 normal university students were interviewed in depth,and 3 normal university students were selected for follow-up interview,to explore the current status of professional identity of normal university students.The change of teachers’ professional identity in education practice of normal university students,and the factors affecting the professional identity of education practice of normal university students.The study found: 1.Before and after the education practice,the professional identity of primary education major normal university students in S University is above average on the whole,with significant differences in the dimensions of career choice and persistence,significant in the dimension of career efficacy,but not significant in the dimension of career value.After the practice,the average scores of primary education major normal university students in all dimensions have been improved,and educational practice plays a positive role in promoting the professional identity of normal university students.2.Before and after the educational practice,there are certain differences among normal university students with different variables.Before the education practice,teachers’ professional contact has significant difference on students’ professional identity;After the education practice,there are significant differences between the types of normal university students;educational practice experience before and after the education practice has a significant difference on the professional identity of normal university students;there is no significant difference between the professional identity of normal university students in the source place,ethnic group,the number of students and the grade before and after the educational practice.In the process of education practice,the professional identity of normal university students generally shows a fluctuating upward trend.At the beginning of education practice,normal university students had the worst professional identity.With the gradual familiarity with the education practice content and the improvement of their own abilities,the sense of professional identity of teachers has been steadily improved,the professional identity of normal university students reached the maximum peak.The factors that affect the professional identity of normal university students in educational practice can be divided into main factors,University factors,social factors.From strong to weak,the influencing factors can be divided into internship instructors,individual normal university students,internship schools,higher normal schools,university instructors and social evaluation.Among them,the internship instructors is the key factor.The change of teachers’ professional identity of normal university students is not a changeless static stagnation,but a process of constant change and development.This study makes targeted suggestions from three aspects: individual normal university students,higher normal universities and internship schools,hoping to enhance the quality of educational practice,improve the educational practice system,and enhance the teacher professional identity of normal university students majoring in primary education.
