The application of project-based learning in the course of "morality and rule of law" in junior high school is a teaching method to cultivate students’ core literacy.It is consistent with the current national quality oriented curriculum reform direction,is an important direction to adapt to the basic education reform,and is an important way to cultivate students’ core literacy.The theoretical and practical research on project-based learning has basically formed a system abroad,which provides a solid foundation for promoting project-based learning practice and related research in China.In recent years,the application of project-based learning in teaching in China has shown an upward trend.The application value of project-based learning is relatively significant and its application scope is relatively wide.The application of project-based learning in teaching in China is on the rise,but it is seldom combined with the "morality and rule of law" course in junior high school.Based on the existing literature,this study analyzes the current application status,achievements and problems of project-based learning in the junior high school "morality and rule of law" course.This research took the eighth grade students of X Middle School in H City as the research object,carried out two rounds of project-based learning activities in the "Morality and Rule of Law" class of junior high school,and comprehensively analyzed the implementation process of project-based learning in the "Morality and Rule of Law" class of junior high school from four aspects,namely,teaching design,action implementation,action observation,summary and reflection,through two rounds of action comparison in the same class,comparison between the traditional class and the experimental class,supplemented by questionnaires,individual interviews and other methods Implementation effect,implementation evaluation,etc.,summarize the research results and reflection of project-based learning in junior high school "morality and rule of law" course.Finally,it is proposed that the implementation of project-based learning in the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle school should be constantly optimized under the premise of adhering to the principles of discipline,authenticity,practicality and diversity.The main strategies include implementing morality and cultivating people,activating teaching content and highlighting discipline characteristics;Activate and drive the problem to reflect openness and authenticity;Deepen the division of labor in groups and embed practice elements;Expand evaluation methods and cultivate diversified achievements.
