President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of cultivating socialist builders and successors in the Ideological and Political Education Teacher’s Symposium,and explicitly required “to adhere to the socialist direction of education,and to take the cultivation of morality as the fundamental task of education.” The “Moral and Legal Education Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)” also clearly states that the educational goal of “cultivating morality and talent”has always been the general grasp of ideological and political classrooms and the spiritual essence that has been adhered to in the long-term teaching practice of ideological and political classrooms.To implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent,it is inseparable from the cultivation of core literacy,and the key lies in changing the way of learning,looking for an effective way to combine the cultivation of student’s core literacy with the junior high school “Moral and Legal Education” classroom.The current hot topic in the field of education-project-based learning,which uses “projects” as an active carrier of cooperative inquiry mode and runs through junior high school “Moral and Legal Education” classroom,is a systematic learning activity based on real situations.By creating real problem situations,it triggers students to think deeply and actively study problems.In project-based learning,students are the decision-makers of their own learning,directly participating in the learning process: from collecting information,making plans,selecting schemes,achieving goals,providing feedback information to evaluating results,actively constructing their own knowledge through problem-solving and task completion.Project-based learning not only changes the teacher’s teaching method but also changes the student’s learning method.Students can not only learn subject knowledge but also improve their thinking ability,and teachers can cultivate student’s subject core literacy.This has profound significance for optimizing the cultivation of student’s subject core literacy.The article uses literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,and action research as the main methods of article writing.Firstly,based on a large number of studies on project-based learning,this article expounds the background and significance of this research,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research content,research ideas,research methods,key and difficult points of research,and innovative points,research conditions and possible existing problems;Secondly,based on the literature analysis method,the concept and main features of project-based learning are interpreted,and the feasibility of applying project-based learning in junior high school “Moral and Legal Education” course is discussed;Thirdly,through the questionnaire survey of some junior high school students and interviews with some junior high school teachers,it is found that applying project-based learning to junior high school “Moral and Legal Education” classroom can change the relationship between teaching and learning,promote the reform of learning-centered classrooms,strengthen practical consciousness,build a practice-oriented education mode,and pay attention to the overall learning,promoting subject core literacy and other advantages,while there are problems,namely,the lack of deep understanding of project-based learning by teachers and students,the low degree of “teaching-learning-evaluation consistency” in project-based learning,and the insufficient connection between project-based learning in the integration of ideological and political courses in junior high schools.In response to these existing problems,suggestions are made to improve teacher’s application skills and qualities of project-based learning,promote the implementation of “teaching-learning-evaluation” consistency in large-unit project-based learning under the new curriculum standard,and build the integration of ideological and political courses in junior high schools based on project-based learning,which is the focus of the article.Finally,combined with actual teaching cases,a large-unit teaching design that better reflects the advantages of project-based learning is proposed.
