Research On The Evaluation Of Urbanization Efficiency In Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration

Urbanization is a process of regional economic transformation,cultural reconstruction and social transformation.It is an important embodiment of the level of regional economic development.The level of urbanization represents the economic and social operation and civilized development degree of the region.China’s urbanization process continues to accelerate,and the emergence of urban agglomeration has become the main form to improve the level of urbanization development,which is of great significance to China’s regional economic development.Behind the prosperity of the rapid urbanization process,there are also many problems: low quality of urbanization development,low efficiency of urbanization,unbalanced regional development,as well as uncoordinated and inadequate urban and rural development.Urbanization efficiency is one of the important dimensions to measure the quality of urbanization development.In terms of content of this thesis,referring to the existing research results of urbanization efficiency,select important indicators to build the urbanization efficiency evaluation system;From the annual statistical yearbook,government websites and other channels collected the index data of 30 major cities in the Zhongyuan urban agglomeration from 2010 to 2019,as the basis of the analysis;Within the time period using a three-stage DEA model,to analyze the model solution results;The characteristics and evolution laws of urbanization efficiency in the region are compared;Dynamic analysis,the urbanization efficiency of the research subjects was measured by using the Malmquist index model.Finally,according to the calculation results,the current situation and change characteristics of urbanization efficiency in Zhongyuan urban agglomeration are summarized,and reasonable policy suggestions are put forward based on the conclusions.The research result shows that the efficiency between cities in Zhongyuan urban agglomeration is quite different,the urbanization efficiency of regional marginal cities is relatively low,and the central areas and cities are close to DEA effective.With the increase of resource integration between cities and the deepening of management system reform,the invested resources are gradually effectively utilized,and the comprehensive technical efficiency of urbanization has been constantly improved.In terms of innovation,the urbanization efficiency is static and dynamically analyzed respectively,and the shortcomings of the traditional DEA method evaluation are filled.The existing research pays less attention to urban agglomeration and urbanization construction in central China.At the same time,secondary urban agglomerations are also an important part of urban agglomeration.In-depth exploration of the six regions divided within the Zhongyuan urban agglomeration is more conducive to improving the overall regional urbanization efficiency.To sum up,this thesis considers the Zhongyuan urban agglomeration,combines the overall changes of urbanization efficiency and proposes the policies: population,economy,space and social urbanization,improving supporting policies;Focuses on industrial upgrading and creating characteristic industries;Scientifically planning of land resources according to local conditions,stimulating consumption vitality and regional linkage development.At present,the urbanization development is facing the problem of profound transformation.Relevant suggestions have certain reference significance for the urbanization construction and efficiency improvement of the Zhongyuan urban agglomeration,as well as the promotion of the urbanization process in the underdeveloped areas in central and western China.
