| In recent years,with the rapid development of logistics industry,it plays an important role in dealing with the complex and changeable domestic and international situation,building a solid foundation for modern industry,promoting the international and domestic double circulation and so on,and gradually becomes a new economic growth point.Urban agglomeration is the product of new industrialization and urbanization,and as an important engine to drive the high-quality economic development of Hubei Province and even the whole central region,Wuhan urban agglomeration has excellent location advantages and superior industrial resources.Its logistics industry has considerable development prospects.Logistics efficiency can truly reflect the actual development of logistics industry.Evaluating the logistics efficiency of Wuhan urban agglomeration can put forward targeted suggestions on the improvement of logistics efficiency on the basis of knowing the current situation of logistics efficiency,so as to help Wuhan urban agglomeration expand industrial development advantages,promote industrial transformation and upgrading,accelerate urbanization construction and enhance industrial competitiveness.Aiming at improving the logistics efficiency of Wuhan urban agglomeration,this thesis systematically combed the relevant literature at home and abroad,and defined the relevant concepts.Based on Pareto efficiency theory,Farrell efficiency theory,Harrod-Domar model and Romer endogenous growth theory,a multi input and multi output logistics efficiency evaluation index system was reasonably constructed,and the logistics data of 12 cities in Wuhan urban agglomeration(9 full member cities and 3 cities belonging to observer counties)from 2012 to 2019 were selected as research samples for empirical research.Firstly,The threestage DEA model was applied to exclude the influence of environmental factors and random factors to statically analyze the logistics efficiency of Wuhan urban agglomeration from 2012 to 2019.Then,the Malmquist index method was used to dynamically track the change trend of total factor productivity of logistics industry in Wuhan urban agglomeration from 2012 to2019,interpret it as the product of techch index and effch index,and analyze the trend of each efficiency index.The results showed that:(1)The TE,PTE and SE of logistics in Wuhan urban agglomeration had not reached the valid value,and the industrial development of this region needed to be improved.(2)There were great differences in logistics efficiency among cities,and the regional industrial development was unbalanced.(3)The TE,PTE and SE of logistics calculated by DEA model in the third stage were lower than those calculated by DEA model in the first stage.And the regional economy,education input and industrial structure had an obvious impact on the efficiency of logistics industry in the urban agglomeration.(4)The overall logistics productivity of Wuhan urban agglomeration was in an upward trend,the productivity index fluctuates greatly,and the development of logistics industry was not stable.(5)Except Huangshi city and Xianning city,the logistics productivity of other areas in the urban circle was on the rise,with great regional differences.(6)The change trend of total factor productivity was close to that of techch index.The coordinated improvement of effch index and techch index could increase the total factor productivity.Finally,based on the empirical results,this thesis gave suggestions for improving the logistics efficiency of Wuhan urban agglomeration in five aspects: building an interconnected regional transportation network,creating a high-quality logistics talent team,innovating technology application and management mode,providing active policy support and strengthening regional industrial synergy. |
