| In recent years, under the encouragement and guidance of the government, the tide of entrepreneurship has spawned a large number of new enterprises. The huge group of new start-ups has played an important role in promoting employment, promoting economic development and technological innovation. But at the same time, due to many "new entry defects" such as poor resource allocation, unsound organizational system, weak team ability, and unstable external relations, new ventures are faced with the reality of a high failure rate.In the Chinese context, the institutional environment is an important part of the corporate environment.By reviewing the existing literature on the growth of new ventures,it is found that the research on the impact of institutional factors on the growth of new ventures is still insufficient, especially empirical research. To sum up,this paper has important theoretical and practical significance for the research on the institutional evolution of new ventures.Using the method of case analysis, this paper selects a typical representative start-up enterprise A technology company to conduct a longitudinal analysis of a single case, and explores the starting point, driving force, internal logic and results of the institutional evolution of the new start-up enterprise. In the case analysis, this paper focuses on examining several typical cases that occurred in the system construction of A technology company in four aspects: organizational structure, human resource management, business process management and financial management, and interviewed the core management team of the company.Through analysis, the system evolution path of A technology company is summarized, and the following research conclusions are obtained:(1)Formally meeting the business development needs of the company is the starting point for the institutional evolution of new ventures, and the internal management needs of the enterprise are the driving force behind the institutional evolution;(2)From the perspective of system implementation Look, what really affects the development and change of the system is the ability and maturity of the enterprise team itself. The growth process of team capability is accompanied by changes in the overall responsibility, power and strength of the team, that is,the adjustment of the division of labor and cooperation. The logic of institutional evolution is to continuously adapt to the adjustment of the division of labor and cooperation between entrepreneurs and teams in the process of enterprise development. This process of continuous adjustment and adaptation is the evolutionary process of the system;(3)From the perspective of enterprise management, the final result of the evolution of the new enterprise system is that the enterprise shifts from a “paternalistic”management model to a “rule of law” management model. This also represents the maturity of the enterprise in terms of organizational division of labor, teamwork and other business management. On this basis, the paper puts forward some suggestions for the construction of the start-up enterprise system:(1)At the start-up stage of the enterprise,a simple “bring-based”system transplantation cannot solve the management pain points of the enterprise. In terms of internal management, entrepreneurs should improve the ability of the management team As the core, avoid going into the misunderstanding of trying to use system construction to make up for the lack of team ability;(2)The system at this stage should be enforceable in broad lines, focusing on the "effect logic" of system effectiveness, and avoid falling into the mistake of pursuing "large and complete" system. |
