| In the context of the new normal,our country’s economic growth has gradually slowed down.Both the Party and the government pay more attention to the quality of economic development.They have repeatedly mentioned the need to achieve high-quality economic growth in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.As a knowledge-and technology-intensive industry,high-tech industry has increasingly become the leading industry in the economic development of a country or region with its strong vitality.Therefore,the development of high-tech industries is an important way to promote the quality of economic growth.The Yangtze River Delta is the most economically developed economic urban agglomeration in our country.Studying the impact of the technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries on the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region will help promote the more efficient development of high-tech industries and improve the overall quality of the economy in the Yangtze River Delta region.Furthermore,it will speed up the high-quality integrated construction of the Yangtze River Delta.This article first defines the concepts of high-tech industry,technological innovation efficiency and economic growth quality,and then introduces the related theories of technological innovation and economic growth.Based on the basic theory of technological innovation on economic growth,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of technological innovation efficiency in high-tech industry on the quality of regional economic growth from five dimensions of economic growth quality.Secondly,the DEA-BCC model is used to evaluate the technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in the Yangtze River Delta region,and the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region is evaluated by the principal component analysis method.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the influence of the technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in the Yangtze River Delta region on the quality of regional economic growth through the fixed effects model.and uses the dynamic panel model and the method of replacing core variables to test the robustness.The study found that:(1)The technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in all provinces of the Yangtze River Delta region has improved to a certain extent from 2010 to 2019.(2)The quality of economic growth in various regions of the Yangtze River Delta is different,and has to maintain an upward trend in different dimensions.The comprehensive index of economic growth in Shanghai,Jiangsu,and Zhejiang is higher,and the comprehensive index of economic growth in Anhui Province is lower and the increase is smaller.(3)The improvement of technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in the Yangtze River Delta region can positively and significantly improve the quality of economic growth.From the perspective of various sub-dimensions,the improvement of technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industry can significantly improve the quality of economic growth in the five dimensions of economic growth efficiency,economic structure optimization,economic growth stability,people’s happy life and green development.Finally,based on the above conclusions,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for improving the efficiency of technological innovation of high-tech industries and the quality of economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta. |
