In the new period,the international and domestic economy is undergoing profound changes,the complex and changing international environment and the impact of the new epidemic have put forward higher requirements for China’s economic development,and the pace of domestic economic restructuring and transformation of the economic development mode has accelerated.The management system is crucial.This paper selects Company A,a state-owned investment platform with diversified industries,as the research object and conducts an in-depth study on how to optimize its performance management system to achieve its strategic goals.Firstly,based on the data collected from field research,the current situation of Company A’s performance management system is analyzed by combining enterprise strategic management theory,whole life cycle theory and dynamic change theory,and the problems and causes of Company A’s performance management process are sorted out through field research and interview method.Then,the balanced scorecard theory was introduced to optimize the performance appraisal index system and performance management process of Company A with strategic objectives as the traction.The scientific management process cannot be separated from the organizational guarantee,so this paper establishes the performance management committee of Company A,puts forward the guarantee measures in three aspects:management support,perfect information system,and perfect performance incentive system,and evaluates the expected effect of the optimized performance management system of Company A.Taking Company A as an example,in-depth analysis of the problems in the performance management process of Company A and the reasons for their occurrence,and introduces the balanced scorecard theory and proposes an optimization plan.the process of optimizing the performance assessment index system and improving the performance management process of Company A can provide practical suggestions and references for other diversified state-owned Companies make improvements to their performance management systems.
