Abstract/Summary:
Due to the rapid development of the market economy,the competition among hotels tends to be more talent competition.As the main component of the hotel’s internal talent,the grass-roots staff of the hotel directly serves the customers and is of great importance to improve the service quality of the hotel.People are active factors of production,and how to encourage grass-roots staff to increase job satisfaction,maximize the full mobilization of grass-roots staff responsibility,initiative,creativity,and then build a loyal,high-quality grass-roots staff team,is currently a lot of hotel enterprises to solve the problem.This article takes the grass-roots staff motivation of Q hotel as the theme.On the basis of in-depth review of relevant materials in the field of domestic hotel staff motivation and summary of recent research,the general situation of Q hotel and the characteristics of grass-roots staff are systematically expounded.From the perspective of material incentive and spiritual incentive,the status,existing problems and causes of grass-roots staff motivation of Q hotel are studied.Moreover,it is believed that Q hotel generally has problems such as unattractive salary,unfair performance appraisal,inactive emotional incentive,imperfect promotion mechanism,and imperfect training system.To investigate the reasons,It is mainly due to the relatively low entry threshold of grass-roots posts in the hotel industry,the managers do not pay enough attention to the incentive of grass-roots staff,the lack of financial guarantee for the incentive of grass-roots staff,and the neglect of the new characteristics of grass-roots staff.Therefore,it is necessary to give Q hotel’s optimal incentive strategy and safeguard measures for grassroots employees from the aspects of reasonable setting of salary system,standardizing performance appraisal work,actively strengthening emotional incentive,actively improving promotion mechanism and establishing and perfecting training system.
