In the 1990 s,China’s engineering consulting industry began to enter a period of rapid development since its establishment,and the services of different specialties such as engineering cost,bidding agency and engineering supervision became more and more mature.In recent years,the impact of environmental changes in the construction industry,engineering consulting enterprise customer demand is also gradually upgraded,resulting in the traditional engineering cost model gradually appear disadvantages,and with the state issued a comprehensive abolition of cost consulting enterprise qualification policy,engineering consulting enterprises will face a very serious homogeneous competition,resulting in enterprise survival space is limited,and even unsustainable.In order to cope with the changes in the new environment of the construction industry and the escalating demands of customers in the market,engineering consulting enterprises need to carry out a series of business reforms to maintain and enhance their viability and competitiveness.At this stage,information technology such as Internet and BIM has become increasingly mature,which also shows that information technology could provide necessary support for engineering consulting enterprises in the process of process reform.Based on the above background,this paper will take D Engineering Consulting Company as the research object,take the value chain management idea as the research basis,and combine it with the business process reengineering theoretical idea to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of its business situation and business process status,identify the key business processes of the enterprise,and find out the reasons for the existence of key business process problems.By exploring the countermeasures of business process reengineering,a new set of more scientific and effective business processes is designed for the enterprise,and reasonable implementation measures are also customized.Firstly,this paper uses the five forces competition model to effectively analyze the existing competitive environment of the enterprise and determine its strategic adjustment direction,so as to find the motivation of business process reengineering of the enterprise.Then,the author uses questionnaire survey method,in-depth interview method and Boston matrix method to complete the selection of key business processes in the enterprise value chain.Then,the problems and causes of the process are identified according to the flow chart of the enterprise’s cost consulting business.Finally,based on the business process reengineering design plan,the key business process reengineering plan is implemented and supporting measures are implemented to realize the effective integration of enterprise value chain and key business processes.The study of business process reengineering scheme based on value chain in this paper is of certain value to enhance the core competitiveness of D engineering consulting company.The process of applying the value chain idea to business process reengineering is also the process of promoting the value chain idea and business process reengineering idea to the enterprise.When the reengineered business process runs smoothly,it could greatly improve the competitiveness of the whole value chain of the enterprise,which will promote the sustainable and good development of the enterprise in the competitive market environment.
