With the improvement of residents’ consumption level and the change of agricultural product consumption concepts,people have put forward higher requirements for the freshness and quality of agricultural products.The "Central No.1" documents of 2020,2021,and 2022 have repeatedly proposed to strengthen the construction of pre-cooling storage facilities in production areas and promote the extension of cold chain logistics service networks to rural areas.The active promotion and policy support of the government have provided a good development environment for the construction of pre-cooling facilities in production areas,and the cold chain logistics of agricultural products has developed rapidly.However,compared to developed countries,China’s agricultural product damage and decay rate remains higher,and problems such as insufficient pre-cooling in agricultural product production areas and unscientific pre-cooling warehouse layout remain serious.Promoting the construction of cold chain logistics facilities for storage and preservation in agricultural producting areas has become a key issue in the current development of cold chain logistics.This article takes the construction of pre-cooling storehouse in the origin for agricultural products in Shouguang City as an example.Based on a thorough analysis of the current situation and logistics mode of agricultural products in Shouguang City,a cold chain logistics model for agricultural products based on pre-cooling of production areas is proposed.A multi-objective model for selecting pre-cooling storehouse in the origin for production areas considering different seasonal variations of agricultural products is constructed,and an improved genetic algorithm is used to study the layout problem of pre-cooling storehouse in the origin for agricultural products in Shouguang City.The research results have practical reference significance for solving the pre-cooling problem of agricultural products in “the first mile”.The main research work and innovation of this article are as follows:(1)On the basis of considering the complementarity of different harvest seasons of agricultural products and the temporal variability of yield,a multi-objective model for the location selection of pre-cooled warehouses in production areas was constructed with the goals of minimizing the total cost of pre-cooled facility layout,maximizing the total utilization rate of pre-cooled warehouses,and minimizing the transportation path of farmers,taking into account the seasonal variations of agricultural products.(2)Starting from the actual problem of pre-cooling in agricultural product production areas in Shouguang City,and based on a detailed analysis of the distribution of different types of agricultural product vegetables in greenhouses in Shouguang City,an improved genetic algorithm was used to obtain the layout optimization plan for the pre-cooling storage in agricultural producting areas in Shouguang City.Measures and suggestions for the construction of pre-cooling storage in agricultural product production areas in Shouguang City were proposed.
