With the accelerated development of globalization,competition among enterprises has become more intense.In order to obtain valuable information,opportunities,and scarce resources,improve competitive advantage and performance,enterprises need to utilize social resources and establish a stable social network,namely corporate social capital.Corporate social capital refers to the stable and good social relationship network established between enterprises and stakeholders.Through these relationships,enterprises can obtain the necessary resources and information,establish trust and dependency relationships,improve business management,enhance core competitiveness,and achieve value-added and sustainable development of enterprise value.With the development of China’s economy and the popularization of the internet,the position of internet enterprises is becoming increasingly important.As one of the most influential internet companies,Tencent has rich social capital and has established a good social relationship network with governments,universities,customers,competitors,etc.Therefore,this article uses literature analysis and case analysis methods to extensively search and organize research on social capital and corporate value creation.Tencent is selected as a typical case for case analysis to study the impact of social capital on corporate value creation.From the perspective of stakeholders,Tencent’s social capital is divided into relationship capital such as government enterprise,bank enterprise,supplier,customer,competitor,manager and employee,community,etc.Explore its role path in enterprise value creation based on resource acquisition and integration,trust mechanism establishment,business model innovation,and propose corresponding enterprise value creation strategies.This study found that social capital is beneficial for resource acquisition and integration,establishment of trust mechanisms,and innovation of business models.These factors,in collaboration,can bring excess profits to enterprises,enhance the level of enterprise value creation,and add value to enterprises.Firstly,Tencent utilizes social capital to enhance the company’s ability to access and integrate information,capital,knowledge and other resources,achieving rapid growth in corporate value;Secondly,its social capital can promote the establishment of trust mechanisms,enhance the reputation and brand value of enterprises,reduce transaction costs,and improve the efficiency of commercial cooperation;In addition,its social capital promotes the diversification and innovation of business models,improving the competitiveness and value creation ability of enterprises.Therefore,enterprises should adopt effective strategies,establish a scientific social capital management system,create a corporate culture of cooperation and trust,clarify development goals,make good use of model innovation,and fully leverage the positive effect of social capital on enterprise value creation.
