| With the widespread application of Internet technology in traditional industries,my country’s SaaS industry is developing rapidly,and there is huge room for future development.However,my country’s SaaS industry faces a common problem: customers are less willing to pay for SaaS services,and it is difficult for SaaS companies to achieve profitability by charging technical service fees.Therefore,it is the only way for SaaS companies to achieve more diversified income through internal entrepreneurship.ES Company provides a community group buying SaaS system for offline retail companies,and obtained two rounds of venture capital investment from domestic institutions in 2017 and2019,respectively.ES company has acquired a large number of customers through several years of development,but ES company cannot achieve profit by relying on SaaS business.The larger the customer scale,the more serious the loss.Therefore,starting in 2019,ES companies have begun to find new profit points through internal entrepreneurship to reverse the financial difficulties of the company.From 2019 to 2020,ES company implemented three internal entrepreneurships,but the final result was failure.This article uses the Timmons model to systematically analyze ES internal entrepreneurship from three dimensions: business opportunities,resources,and teams.The analysis concludes that the consulting direction is a business opportunity that the ES team should value;data resources are the core resource advantage of the ES team;Know-How is the core competence of the ES team.Combined with the actual situation of ES,the business direction of the fourth internal entrepreneurship-group consulting is formulated.In the second half of 2021,ES Company launched its fourth internal entrepreneurship and achieved initial success.This article tracks and organizes the planning and execution process of this internal entrepreneurship.This article constructs an ES company’s internal entrepreneurial model,which takes data resources as the core;under the leadership and promotion of entrepreneurial spirit,cultivates Know-How capabilities,discovers and explores business opportunities for group consulting,and makes Know-How capabilities and the business opportunities for group consulting match each other.In the process of providing services to customers,SaaS companies will accumulate data advantages and Know-How advantages in the scenarios they serve.These two advantages are the common advantages of SaaS companies.In terms of the choice of internal entrepreneurial business opportunities,the scenarios served by the SaaS company’s internal entrepreneurial projects should be consistent with the main business of SaaS,which is conducive to transforming the resources accumulated by SaaS services into the market competitiveness of internal entrepreneurial projects.This has certain reference significance for other SaaS companies that hope to achieve sustainable development through internal entrepreneurial strategies. |
