| With the advent of 5G era,home office has come into public view.When work environment and home environment are highly overlapping,how to maintain work efficiency becomes a hot topic at present.However,previous studies have focused more on the influence of hardware equipment and technology,but they ignored the influence of family factors and work-family conflict.Therefore,this paper explores the impact mechanism of family support/ostracism and work efficiency at home,as well as the dynamic reciprocal relationship of main factors.This paper mainly includes two studies.Using 626 valid questionnaires,the first study adopts work-family conflict as a mediating variable to establish the model,and further investigates three moderating variables,including work-related flow,emotional arousal,and work atmosphere.Based on the longitudinal data collected in 3 waves,the second study establishes a latent change score model(LCS).This study explores the dynamic reciprocal relationship between family support/ostracism and work-family conflict,as well as the dynamic reciprocal relationship between work-family conflict and work efficiency at home.The first study shows that family support and family ostracism are key factors that affect work efficiency at home.(1)When individuals work at home,family support positively affects work efficiency at home,family ostracism negatively affects work efficiency at home,and work-family conflict negatively affects work efficiency at home.(2)Family ostracism positively affects work-family conflict and family support negatively affects work-family conflict.(3)Work-family conflict plays a mediating role in the effect of family ostracism on work efficiency at home,work-family conflict also plays a mediating role between family support and work efficiency at home.(4)Work-related flow positively moderates the relationship between family ostracism and work-family conflict,but it can not moderate the relationship between family support and work-family conflict.(5)Emotional arousal positively moderates the relationship between family ostracism and work-family conflict,but it can not moderate the relationship between family support and work-family conflict.(6)Work atmosphere negatively moderates the relationship between work-family conflict and work efficiency at home.The results of the second study show that:(1)There is a positive dynamic reciprocal relationship between family ostracism and work-family conflict during the home office period.Over time,family ostracism has a positive lagged effect on the increase of work-family conflict at the next stage,and work-family conflict also has a positive lagged effect on the increase of family ostracism at the next stage.(2)Over time,work-family conflict has a negative lagged effect on the increase of work efficiency at home,but work efficiency at home can not have a lagged effect on the increase of work-family conflict.This paper explores the influence mechanism of family support/ostracism and work efficiency at home in a comprehensive manner.On the one hand,this paper enriches the empirical research methods in the field of home office and expands the research perspectives in the work-family field.On the other hand,this paper provides a theoretical and empirical basis for scientific management of employees who work at home. |
