| The warehouse operation efficiency of cross-border logistics companies directly affects the on-time delivery rate of goods,and is also a key factor affecting customer satisfaction and maintaining market competitiveness.With the opening of port policies,cross-border logistics companies can only maintain competitiveness in the fierce competition by improving warehouse operation efficiency.The layout planning of the warehouse is the fundamental factor affecting warehouse operations.A good warehouse layout not only ensures efficient operation of the warehouse,but also reduces the operating costs of the enterprise.Therefore,reasonable warehouse layout is particularly important for cross-border logistics enterprises.This article focuses on the warehouse of Tiejia Logistics Company in the bonded area as the research object.It introduces the basic situation of the enterprise,the operation process and layout status inside the warehouse.Starting from the business characteristics of the warehouse,through on-site research and qualitative and quantitative methods,it is found that there are layout problems in the warehouse,such as low area utilization rate,unclear operation connection,and chaotic logistics flow,which urgently need to be optimized and improved.Firstly,the System Facility Layout(SLP)method is used to systematically analyze the logistics and non logistics relationships within the enterprise’s warehouse,and a comprehensive correlation and no area location correlation diagram is obtained.Based on the prediction of the future business volume of the enterprise,the layout area of the functional areas in the warehouse is predicted,and a preliminary layout optimization plan is obtained.Secondly,based on the initial layout plan,genetic algorithm is used to further optimize the plan.Aiming at the problem of chaotic logistics flow and long turnover time of goods in the warehouse,the objective function one is to minimize the cost of goods handling;In order to improve the connectivity of operations in the warehouse,the objective function two is to have the strongest comprehensive relationship between functional areas.Further construct a mathematical model for warehouse layout,and design a genetic algorithm to solve the model to obtain the final layout plan for the warehouse.The final solution helped optimize the layout of the enterprise’s warehouse,reducing the handling distance and goods turnover time in warehouse operations,ensuring the continuity of operations and the smoothness of logistics flow,improving the efficiency of warehouse operations,and verifying the effectiveness of this solution in layout optimization.The value of this article is to apply the theory and method of optimizing the facility layout in the actual case of the logistics enterprise warehouse.In response to the unreasonable problems of the warehouse layout of the Tiejia Logistics Company,the combination of SLP and genetic algorithms is used to optimize the layout of the functional area scientifically and systematically,re-formulate the layout plan,reduce the cost of warehouse operation,improve the operational efficiency of the warehouse and the market of the enterprise.Competitiveness.The facility layout optimization method combined SLP with the genetic algorithm used in this article has certain reference significance for other similar logistics companies to optimize the warehouse layout. |
