Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the trend of global aging continues to intensify.The wheelchairs industry has been developing since global aging.Wheelchair products belong to the category of medical devices.Wheelchairs have the characteristics of wide application scenarios,large industrial potential,and the market demand is growing rapidly.K company make serving the disabled as its target all along,meet the requirement of different customer groups,and keeping innovative research in technology to improve the competence of product research and development.From the above research background,this paper takes K company wheelchair new product development project as the research case,and conducts systematic research on the risk management of K company wheelchair new product development project by the way of risk identification,risk assessment and risk control.At present,K company does not pay enough attention to risk management in new wheelchair product development projects,and the risk assessment and risk control way can not be used properly.This paper uses the Delphi method and the brainstorming to identify risks,and finally 4 primary risk factors(market risk,technical risk,management risk and quality risk)and 19 secondary risk factors have been identified.The Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)are used to conduct risk assessment on the new product development project of K company’s wheelchair,meanwhile,the corresponding risk control strategies are proposed for important risk factors.Through the research of K company’s risk management,the following points are drawn:(1)According to the results of the risk assessment,the overall risk of the new product development project of K company’s wheelchair is controllable,and the risk level is evaluated as medium grade risk.Among them,the three risk factors of "high product pricing,the threat from competitive products and lax technical review" need K company to focus on.(2)Take the following targeted risk control strategies for important risk factors: refine the product pricing confirmation list and organize multi-departmental discussions;in-depth analysis of competitors’ product advantages from factors such as technology,product materials,and quality;optimize project schedule manage and strictly abide by the product development process,etc.Effective risk control can reduce the risk of K company’s new product development project and enable the project to be completed smoothly.Through the research of this paper,it is beneficial for improving the risk management level of K company’s development project and the success rate of new product development.Finally,to maximize the benefits of K company’s wheelchair new product development project.
