| Since the reform and opening up,China’s export trade has developed rapidly with comparative advantages such as cheap labor and policy dividend.Manufacturing industry occupies an important position in our country export trade.Although the export scale of Chinese manufacturing industry is among the best in the world,the key production technologies in the core field have been kept in check by developed countries,making Chinese industry,especially manufacturing industry,in the middle and low end of the global value chain for a long time,suffering from the "low-end lock-in".It is necessary for Chinese manufacturing industry to cultivate new foreign trade advantage and enhance the value added of export products in order to regain international competitive advantage.Producer services with high knowledge intensity and strong industrial relevance can provide support for this demand.Therefore,from the perspective of producer services agglomeration,this paper explores the ways to improve the domestic added value of export of manufacturing enterprises.Firstly,this paper parses the current situation and agglomeration degree of producer services in China and the development of manufacturing export.Combined with the industrial correlation theory and agglomeration externality theory that producer services agglomeration affects the development of manufacturing industry and the value chain theory that affects the international division of labor status of manufacturing industry,the provincial panel data and enterprise export data from 2003 to 2013 are used.The influence mechanism of producer services’ specialization and diversification agglomeration on the export value added of manufacturing enterprises is deeply analyzed.From the theories analysis and empirical results finds :(1)the development status and agglomeration degree of producer services and the domestic value added level of export of manufacturing enterprises show a trend of gradual increase during the sample period.Moreover,there are great differences in the agglomeration level of producer services in different regions,and there are also differences in the domestic added value of exports of enterprises with different trade modes.(2)Professional and diversified agglomeration of producer services do have a positive impact on the domestic added value of export of enterprises,and on the whole,the promotion effect of professional agglomeration is greater than that of diversified agglomeration.This effect is heterogeneous at the regional and enterprise levels.Enterprises in the eastern region and foreign-funded enterprises absorbs more agglomeration effect brought by producer services,which has a important practical effect on the domestic added value of enterprises’ exports.General trade enterprises are sensitive to the effect of specialized agglomeration,while diversified agglomeration promotes the domestic added value of export of processing trade enterprises.(3)The professionalization agglomeration of producer services mainly affects the marginal cost and technological innovation of enterprises through the scale economy effect,professionalization effect,knowledge spillover effect and competition effect caused by MAR externality and Porter externality,thus promoting the domestic added value of export of Chinese manufacturing enterprises.Diversified agglomeration mainly reduces marginal costs and raises relative prices of domestic and foreign intermediate goods through economies of scale,knowledge spillovers and cooperation effects generated by Jacobs externality,so as to increase the domestic added value of export.On this basis,this article from the differentiation industry development policy,promote the development of producer services and manufacturing integration,encourage manufacturing service outsourcing and cultivate creative consciousness and so on puts forward the related Suggestions to promote the value-added manufacturing export products in China,for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in China and occupy the dominant position in the international competition provides a certain reference value. |
