| With the deep integration of digital economy and real economy,the development of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data has provided strong support for enterprises’ Digital transformation,enabling enterprises to achieve higher performance.Employees are the main users of technology in the enterprise.Only by continuously improving employees’ creativity can the maximum efficiency of Digital transformation be effectively exerted.In the context of accelerated innovation iteration,how to activate employees’ creativity and finally achieve enterprise innovation is a key concern of enterprises in Digital transformation.The advent of the digital era has significantly changed the traditional personnel organization principle and enterprise operation mode.Scholars call for research on this change,to explore how various technology applications during the Digital transformation affect the work situation and thus affect employees,so as to timely summarize the employee management issues in the Digital transformation of enterprises.Currently,research has been conducted on the impact of technologies such as mobile internet,artificial intelligence,robotics,and algorithm management applications on employee happiness or creativity.Big data is an important part of enterprises’ Digital transformation,but most existing studies point out that big data can improve enterprise performance and innovation performance from the organizational level,and few studies focus on the relationship between job characteristics and employee creativity in the context of enterprise’s application of big data technology.The application of big data technology in enterprises provides more knowledge,information,and resources for employees,which will promote employees’ creativity;On the other hand,the application of big data technology in enterprises may also increase workload or improve job skill requirements,which will reduce employees’ creativity.Therefore,we conduct a literature review about job characteristics(including job demands and job resources),thriving at work,and employee creativity.Based on resource conservation theory and Job Demands-Resources model(JD-R),this article attempts to research from two paths: loss and gain.With thriving at work as the mediating variable,explore the mechanism of work characteristics on employee creativity in the context of big data technology application,and provide reference for enterprises to better stimulate employee creativity in Digital transformation.In the empirical stage,a three-stage approach was adopted for questionnaire distribution.The first questionnaire collected control variables and job characteristics data,the second collected job prosperity data,and the third collected employee creativity data.The questionnaire was distributed in three stages over a period of 5 months,with a total of 143 valid questionnaires collected.And the empirical results are as follows: job demands and it’s sub dimensions of job overload and job skill requirements have a negative impact on employee creativity;job resources,as well as it’s sub dimensions of career development opportunities and work autonomy,positively affect employee creativity;Thriving at work plays a mediating role. |
