Research On The Safe Development Of Maize Seed Industry From The Persective Of Food Security

Food security has always been an important matter related to the national economy and people’s livelihood,is an important foundation for achieving economic development,social stability,and national security,and is closely related to China’s development.The first part of the Central Document No.1 in 2023 puts stable production and supply in the first part,the primary problem of an agricultural power is that a country solves the problem of feeding its own people,the guarantee capacity of agriculture,the supply capacity of agricultural products must be very strong,the central government has always emphasized that our staple food must be loaded into its own rice bowl,which is a country’s basic security and the basic characteristics of a national agricultural power.In the development process of industrial safety theory,the quantitative analysis of the security status of specific industries and the effective calculation and evaluation of the security status of a country or an industry play an important role in studying the safety status of various industries and formulating corresponding management policies.Therefore,this paper selects the corn seed industry,evaluates the survival state and development potential of the quantified industry from four aspects,such as industrial control,industrial competitiveness,industrial domestic environment and external dependence of the industry,and finally determines two categories of first-level indicators and four second-level indicators to measure the safety of corn seed industry.So far,an industrial safety evaluation system under the structure of intuitive and accurate three-order indicators has been formed.The safety of the maize seed industry was systematically evaluated.Taking maize seeds from 2015 to 2021 as the research object,the established maize seed quality and safety assessment method was used to comprehensively evaluate the maize seed quality.Finally,the entropy method is used to establish specific industrial safety indicators,and the correlation between them and industrial security status is calculated.Comparing the calculation results with the selected evaluation,it can be seen that during the observation period,the safety index of the corn seed industry showed an overall downward trend and had certain upward fluctuations,but overall,the safety of the corn seed industry continued to improve over time,and the factors related to the development of the market had a great positive impact on the safety of the industry.However,the safety of maize germplasm resources needs to be improved,and it is necessary to formulate corresponding management systems according to their own conditions,master key technologies,continue to cultivate and support advantageous industries,and ensure the safety of the industry,which needs to be borne by the government.
