With the development of the Internet and communication technology,it is not uncommon for employees to take frequent breaks,chat for a long time,shop online or search for hot items,etc.All these phenomena indicate that employees have the time banditry behavior.Time is a limited organizational asset,and employees must use these assets to drive organizational productivity.Misusing time assets will bring high costs to the organization.Therefore,how to effectively control employees’ time banditry behavior and make them deliver as many results as possible during working hours has become an aspect of an organization’s future competitiveness.As one of the important workplace characteristics,work pressure can have a certain positive or negative impact on organizations and individuals.Some scholars have paid attention to the relationship between the occurrence of the time banditry behavior and work pressure,and confirmed that the inducing factors of the former are related to the intensity of work pressure.However,there are few studies have explored the impact of challenging stressor-hindrance stressor on employees’ time banditry behavior from the perspective of dual pressure,and the internal mechanism is still unclear.Therefore,this paper will explo re the relationship between challenge stressor-hindrance stressor and the time banditry behavior and its internal mechanism,and analyze the mediating role of promotion-and prevention-focused job crafting in this transmission mechanism.Based on the conservation of resources theory and transactional theory of stress,this study constructs a theoretical model of the impact of challenging stressor-hindrance stressor on employees’ time banditry behavior.This paper firstly reviews the literature on the challenging stressor-hindrance stressor,job crafting and time banditry behavior,and conducts a research review on these core variables.Secondly,the mechanism of challenging stressor-hindrance stressor on employees’ time banditry behavior is analyzed in detail,and the mediating role of promotion-and prevention-focused job crafting in this relationship is discussed.Thirdly,we will pre-test the questionnaire before a large-scale formal survey,and modify the scale according to its data results to obtain a formal questionnaire.Finally,the homologous variance analysis,reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods are used to verify the hypothesis.The results show that the challenging stressor has a significant negative impact on employees’ time banditry behavior,while the hindrance stressor has a significant positive impact on employees’ time banditry behavior.Promotion-and prevention-focused job crafting play dual mediating roles in the relationship between challenging stressor,hindrance stressor and employees’ time banditry behavior,respectively.Based on research results,this paper suggest that managers should be aware of challenging stressor and hindrance stressor respectively for time to weaken the effect of embezzlement and promote effect,encourage enterprises to further optimize the management way,refined,stress,and at the same time should pay attention to the employee’s job crafting,to guide employees in the proper way to deal with work pressure,to reduce the possibility of negative behaviors such as the time banditry behavior.
