The Research On The Impact Of Standardization On The Status Of The Manufacturing Global Value Chain Of China

With the deep development of the world economy,the production and consumption of the world countries gradually become a closely linked organic whole,and each value link is regulated and linked by certain standards,thus constituting a global value system.The position of "standard acceptor",China’s manufacturing industry is still in the low end of the global value chain.Therefore,in the face of the "low-end lock" situation of China’s manufacturing industry,it is important to analyze whether and how the improvement of standardization capacity can contribute to the position of China’s manufacturing industry in the global value chain.In terms of theoretical mechanism analysis,the dissertation analyzes the mechanism of standardization on the position of manufacturing global value chain from three aspects: technological innovation effect,information disclosure effect and integration effect of standardization.It is believed that standardization can improve the quality and technology content of export intermediate inputs,enhance the quality of domestic production processes and products,reduce transaction costs and obtain "technology spillover",and systematically coordinate and integrate the value chain network,and promote the rise of manufacturing GVC status from the import demand side and export supply side in terms of backward and forward participation.Accordingly,the dissertation collects the data of 18 manufacturing industries in China,and analyzes the current situation of their standardization works,the relative supply level of standards and the characteristics of the GVC position of manufacturing industry in China.The impact on technology-intensive industries is particularly obvious.In addition,the dissertation also selects Huawei in the communication equipment manufacturing industry as a specific case from a micro perspective,and analyzes the practice and path of standardization to help Huawei achieve value chain climbing,further verifying the conclusions in the previous paper.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations from the perspective of standardization: first,China should combine the value chain and develop a matching standardization strategy according to its position in the value chain;second,integrate industry,academia and research to improve the standard supply level;third,actively promote the standards and push it to "go global".
