Study On Land Use Transformation And Its Coupling With Social Economic Development In Hilly Areas Of South China

As a natural complex composed of multiple factors,land is the material carrier of social and economic activities,and plays an important role in human social and economic activities.Land use status can better reflect the socio-economic situation of the region.Currently,with the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization,significant changes have taken place in social production methods and people’s lifestyles.The demand for land resources in agriculture,industry,service industries,and related industries is changing,which has led to a dramatic transformation in the spatial and temporal depth and scope of land resource utilization in China.Currently,land use transformation is a leading direction and hot topic in land use change research.Studying the transformation of land use and exploring the interaction between land use transformation and socio-economic development can reveal the characteristics of land use transformation and the mechanism of its interaction with socio-economic development,identify the unreasonable situations in the process of land use transformation and their impact on socio-economic development,optimize land use structure,promote the scientific and rational use of land resources,and achieve high-quality development of regional socio-economic development.Based on the existing research results,this article takes Longnan City,Jiangxi Province,which is located in the southern hilly region,as the research object,uses the land use change survey data of Longnan City in 2009 and 2019,as well as socio-economic statistical data from2009 to 2019,Using methods such as land use dynamic degree,land use transfer matrix,and land use center of gravity transfer model to analyze the characteristics of dominant land use transformation;And based on the entropy method,an evaluation index system for land use implicit form transformation is constructed from five aspects: land use efficiency,management mode,production function,living function,and ecological function,analyzing the characteristics of land use implicit form transformation;Reuse the coupling coordination degree model to analyze the coupling coordination relationship between land use transformation and socio-economic development,and finally summarize the problems existing in the process of land use transformation and propose optimized regulation paths.The research mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Significant temporal and spatial dominant transformation of land use types: In terms of the quantitative structure of land use,from 2009 to 2019,the area of cultivated land,residential land,mining land,and other land in Longnan City showed a decreasing trend,while the area of forest land,garden land,transportation land,and water area showed an increasing trend,with the most reduced area being cultivated land,and the most increased area being forest land.From the perspective of change amplitude,the largest increase in traffic land and improved traffic conditions;Other lands have experienced the most significant reduction,with the intensity of reserve land resource development increasing and land use becoming increasingly tense.In terms of spatial structure of land use,from 2009 to 2019,farmland in Longnan City was mainly transferred out;Forest land and garden land are mainly transferred in;The mining land is obviously transferred out;The transfer of transportation land is obvious.The places where land transformation is intense are precisely the places with the densest population,residential areas,and transportation distribution.In addition,the overall evolution trend of the spatial pattern of land use in Longnan City is from east to west,and from north to south.The coverage of various spatial changes is basically expanding outward.The land use center of gravity is generally located in Lintang Township in the central part of Longnan City,and the migration trajectory mainly moves from northeast to southwest.(2)The transformation of land use efficiency,management mode,production,life,and ecological functions has been intense: In terms of land use efficiency,the overall land use efficiency index of Longnan City showed a fluctuating upward trend of "increase decrease increase" from 2009 to 2019.The increase in investment in capital,labor,technology,and other aspects of land has increased the economic output of land,and the intensive use of land has improved the efficiency of land use.However,it is also faced with the problem of reducing the area of cultivated land and the per unit yield of grain caused by the decline in pesticide and fertilizer inputs.In terms of land management methods,the overall index of land management methods shows a fluctuating upward trend.The improvement of farmland mechanization and the transfer of rural land contractual management rights have promoted the transformation of traditional land management methods to modernization.In terms of land production function,the land production function index has increased year by year.During the study period,Longnan City accelerated production development,with GDP,total industrial output value,tourism income,and the proportion of secondary and tertiary industry output value increasing year by year,and the land production capacity improving.In terms of land living functions,the land living function index has increased year by year,with a significant increase.Longnan City has increased capital investment to address livelihood issues,promoting the improvement of people’s living conditions and living standards.In terms of land ecological function,the land ecological function index showed a fluctuating increase trend of "increase decrease increase decrease increase",with significant fluctuations.Environmental problems in Longnan City arise one after another.Although environmental problems have been addressed to some extent,they need to be further improved.(3)The coupling and coordination relationship between land use transformation and socio-economic development has been adjusted and optimized year by year,and good coordination has initially been achieved.From 2009 to 2019,Longnan City has been in an interactive and leading development state between land use transformation and socio-economic development,with land use transformation leading socio-economic development in the early stage of 2009 to 2019,and socio-economic development leading land use transformation in the later stage.The degree of coupling and coordination between land use transformation and socio-economic development has increased year by year,and the coupling and coordination relationship between the two has been optimized year by year,achieving a transition from "near imbalance-grudging coordination-primary coordination-intermediate coordination-good coordination".
