| Land use efficiency and urbanization level together constitute a subset that affects urban development,and they have a relationship of mutual promotion and mutual restraint.Land use plays an important role in the process of urbanization development.Scientific and reasonable land use helps to promote the process of urbanization development,and the improvement of urbanization development level will promote the improvement of land use efficiency,which forms a virtuous cycle to promote the relationship between the two.However,if the coordinated development relationship between land use efficiency and urbanization is neglected,the two will form a mutually antagonistic situation,and the development of urbanization will lead to a series of problems such as the occupation of high-quality arable land,the disorderly expansion of construction land and environmental pollution,and the supporting role of land use for urban development will be weakened.Therefore,it is worthwhile to coordinate the relationship between land use efficiency and urbanization level in the process of urban development,optimize land use,improve land use efficiency,enhance urbanization level,promote efficient and healthy development of urbanization,and realize the benign interaction between the two to promote each other.This paper constructs an evaluation index system based on the connotation and influencing factors of land use efficiency and urbanization level.Taking Wuhan city circle as the research case,firstly,the entropy value method is applied to measure the land use efficiency and urbanization level of nine cities in Wuhan city circle from 2007 to 2020,then the coupling and coordination degree model is constructed to analyze the coupling and coordination relationship between land use efficiency and urbanization level of nine cities in Wuhan city circle,then the data results of coupling and coordination of land use efficiency and urbanization in Wuhan city circle are analyzed and Finally,based on the results and influencing factors,we propose policy recommendations for the coordinated development of land use efficiency and urbanization level in Wuhan city circle in a targeted manner.Through the rational and empirical analysis in the previous section,the following conclusions are drawn.First,the land use efficiency and urbanization level of the nine cities in Wuhan city circle both develop positively during 2007-2020,but the regional spatial heterogeneity is obvious,showing a situation of high in the east and low in the west,and the regional development is uneven.Second,the coupled and coordinated development levels of land use efficiency and urbanization in the nine cities of Wuhan city circle from 2007 to 2020 belong to comprehensive to good,and all of them change from disorder to coordination,with Wuhan changing from intermediate coordination to quality coordination stage;Huangshi changing from near disorder to intermediate coordination,Xiaogan,Xianning,Tianmen and Qianjiang,from moderate disorder to barely coordination,and Ezhou and Huanggang changing from mild disorder to barely coordination.Third,the coupling coordination influences factors such as unbalanced economic development and inefficient land use;imperfect ecological and environmental infrastructure,unsound public infrastructure construction,unbalanced financial income and expenditure,and large population out-migration.In view of the above-mentioned current situation and impact problems of the coupled and coordinated development of land use and urbanization level,it is suggested that measures should be taken to promote the implementation of the goal of coupled and coordinated development of land use and urbanization level in Wuhan city circle in terms of improving the policy system,coordinating regional development,promoting economic development,improving people’s livelihood,balancing financial income and expenditure,and actively coping with population movement. |
