Electronic products bring convenience to people’s lives, but a series of social and environmental problems appear, such as environmental pollution and resource consumption.Waste electronic products are endowed with the potential of environmental pollution as well as the value of renewable resource recycling. As a result, the recycling process is different from other wastes. At present, there are a lot of informal problems existing in the waste electronic product recycling industry. In the end, waste electronic products enter informal channels, resulting in social environment damage. The standardization of the behavior of informal recyclers as well as the promotion on the normalization of the waste electronic product recycling industry plays a vital role in the solution of the problem about waste electronic products. The status of waste electronic product recycling is analyzed by summarizing the existing research results on the basis of combing the domestic and foreign literature on waste electronic product recycling so as to expound the necessity of promoting the normalization of waste electronic product recycling. It provides a research foundation as well as a research framework for the paper.Firstly,an evolutionary game model between the government and informal recyclers is constructed. The research results show that in the consideration of maximizing their own interests, informal recyclers can adhere to the informal recycling mode regardless of government supervision.Secondly,an evolutionary game method is adopted to analyze the recycling strategies of recyclers in the presence of government supervision.Through the analysis of the stable strategies of formal recyclers and informal recyclers, some relevant conclusions are drawn. The contract margin of recyclers, the government’s reward and punishment for recyclers, the initial proportion of recyclers’ selection of cooperation strategies and the excess return of cooperation of recyclers can promote the cooperation of recyclers. The cooperation cost of recyclers hinders the cooperation enthusiasm of recyclers. Finally,a numerical example is set to verify the model and simulate the decision-making analysis to verify the reliability of relevant conclusions. The influence of various parameters of the model on the behavior decision-making of recyclers is explored so as to provide a theoretical direction as well as a decision-making basis for the participants of waste electronic product recycling. The game behavior of the participants of waste electronic product recycling is analyzed in the paper. The key factors influencing the cooperation between formal recyclers and informal recyclers are obtained.Policies and suggestions on formulating industry access standards, clarifying the responsibilities of all parties, scientifically implementing the reward and punishment system, and introducing third-party supervision agencies are put forward from the perspective of the government.Besides, strategies and suggestions are also proposed to establish an information sharing platform, formulate recycling price standards and construct the trust mechanism of recyclers from the perspective of recyclers. It is hoped to promote the recycling of more waste electronic products and improve the resource utilization rate as well as the ecological environment quality.
