| The company’s adaptive ability to the dynamic market and sustainable development is determined by their organization structures.With the rapid changes of the international economic and political environment in the post epidemic era,small foreign trade companies need to timely improve their organization structure according to environments,so as to meet the needs of the rapid development of the foreign trade industry.A reasonable organization structure can improve the efficiency of small foreign trade companies,strengthen the adaptability of the company to environments and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.BOSSFER LTD.studied in this paper is a small foreign trade company established in 2009.At present,the company adopts a beeline system structure.However,with the expansion of the company’s scale and the diversification of customer needs,the current organizational structure is not suitable for the situation of multiple different orders running at the same time.This problem is mainly reflected in the rigid working ideas of each department of the company,the slow response to the rapid changes of the company’s customer needs,the self-contained functional departments,the lack of horizontal communication between departments.The unsuitable is easy to lead to problems such as duplication or errors,and reduce the operation efficiency of the company.Based on the relevant theories of organizational structure optimization,this paper firstly interviews and investigates the company’s existing organizational structure,analyzes some unreasonable settings due to historical reasons.It is revealed that the lack of flexibility of the existing organizational structure is the main reason for its’ incompatibility with multi-orders parallel business.Secondly,through the questionnaire analysis of the company’s adaptive indicators,this paper designs the conceptual model of organizational structure adaptability for small foreign trade companies.According to this conceptual model,this paper uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the indexes’ weights,uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to deeply analyze the adaptability of the organization structure of BOSSFER LTD.The results show the deficiencies of the company in four aspects: the perception ability of organizational adaptability,the integration ability of organizational adaptability,the improvement ability of organizational adaptability and the service ability of organizational adaptability.Finally,combined with the business characteristics and the shortcomings of the existing organization structure of BOSSFER LTD.,all orders of the company are divided into self-produced products and outsourced products.The functional departments and business processes of the company are redesigned.An organization structure model of double matrix for small foreign trade enterprises is proposed to deal with self-produced and outsourced products.The new organization structure improves the adaptability of the company and alleviates the incompatibility between the company’s organization structure and multi order parallel business.The conceptual model of organization structure’s adaptability is proposed in this paper.Indicators of organization structure’s adaptability for multi-orders business are designed to evaluate the investigated company.The double matrix organization structure model is suggested to improve the company’s adaptability.The study shows theoretical and practical significance on improvement of small foreign trade company’s organization structure flexibility. |
