A Study On Rural Youth Entrepreneurship In Yiyang City Under The Strategy Of Rural Revitalization

As a large agricultural city,Yiyang City has a rural population of 3,712,000,accounting for 84% of the resident population.The large rural population means that the task of revitalising the countryside is relatively onerous.In the context of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation",rural youths are actively joining the entrepreneurial boom.As a solid force of the rural population in Yiyang City,how to improve the comprehensive quality and ability of rural youth groups in entrepreneurship and stimulate their enthusiasm in revitalizing industries is of great practical significance to promote the development of rural economy and rural revitalization in Yiyang City.Firstly,the author conducted a questionnaire survey in the remaining three counties,one city and two districts in Yiyang City,except Datong Lake District and Yiyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.The results of the survey were used to understand the basic information of rural youths in Yiyang and the greatest difficulties in starting a business at present are the lack of good business projects and the lack of business capital.Secondly,an empirical analysis was conducted using a binary logistic regression model,which revealed that the factors influencing Yiyang rural youths’ willingness to start their own business were encouragement from various social parties,support from family and friends,entrepreneurship education and training,implementation and enforcement of entrepreneurial preferential policies,and entrepreneurs’ own effectiveness.Among them,encouragement from the society and preferential policies for entrepreneurship are more influential,while the rest of the factors are influential but not to a great extent.Based on the above research,it is concluded that the main entrepreneurial problems are entrepreneurial initiative,insufficient entrepreneurial resources,incomplete access to relevant information and the serious problem of homogenisation of entrepreneurial projects.The main causes of entrepreneurship problems are the lack of entrepreneurial ability of entrepreneurs,the lack of in-depth entrepreneurship policy promotion,the lack of perfect infrastructure construction and the lack of comprehensive local policy support.On the one hand,the education,training,support and evaluation mechanisms related to entrepreneurship have not been established and cannot meet the entrepreneurial needs of rural youths;on the other hand,there are fewer agricultural projects with regional characteristics and suitable for entrepreneurship,and the entrepreneurial support policies related to rural e-commerce and rural tourism are not perfect.Based on the analysis of the entrepreneurship problems of rural youth in Yiyang city and their causes,countermeasure suggestions for rural youth entrepreneurship in Yiyang city are given,mainly in three categories: improving the service system and strengthening government support;strengthening infrastructure construction and improving the entrepreneurial environment;and strengthening capacity training and changing the entrepreneurial concept.Among them,suggestions are made in ten aspects respectively: innovating financial service support,formulating institutional guarantee mechanisms,improving technical and information support,enhancing the vitality of rural markets,strengthening the construction of agricultural science and technology entrepreneurship demonstration parks,optimising the implementation of the management of service production materials,creating a social atmosphere that encourages entrepreneurship,increasing entrepreneurship training,improving entrepreneurial values and improving the management level of entrepreneurs.
