Research On The Integrated Development Path Of Rural And Urban Economy In Counties Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization Strategy

Nowadays,the principal conflict faced by Chinese society in the new era has changed to a conflict between unbalanced and inadequate development on the one side and the people’s ever-growing desire for a better life on the other side.The greatest imbalance in China’s development is between urban and rural development,while the greatest inadequacy exists in the development of rural areas.Therefore,the Report of the 20 th Party Congress proposed that governments at all level endeavor to pursue the integrated development of the urban-rural economy and give priority to the development of agriculture and rural areas,so as to make the urban and rural elements flow smoothly and boost the revitalization of the countryside comprehensively.The county is the intersected room of urban and rural areas with a unique driven advantage.It can enhance the integration of urban-rural economic development at the country level to drive the county’s prosperity of high quality.On the one hand,counties can undertake industrial transfer,promote industrial upgrading and transformation as well as provide nearby employment opportunities for rural surplus laborers.On the other hand,it can build a sound commercial system throughout the county and open up two-way channels for the upward trend of agricultural products and the downward trend of industrial products,thus achieving the goal of coordinating production and sales as well as consumption upgrading.Rural revitalization can not be discussed in terms of the countryside itself,but should start from the reconstruction of the urban-rural relationships.The integration of the urban-rural economy at the county level is an important breakthrough point for its development.This paper takes the development of urban-rural economic integration at the county level as the starting point and acts Lixin County of Anhui Province as the research area.It mainly studies the relevant factors affecting the urban-rural economic integration in Lixin County under the context of the Rural Revitalization Strategy.Firstly,based on the theory of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics,dualistic economy and the Marxist urban-rural relationship,the realistic challenges of urban-rural economic integration development in Lixin County are analyzed.Secondly,the entropy method is used to measure and evaluate the urban-rural economic integration in Lixin County,and then its affecting factors are explored through the gray correlation degree.Finally,the optimization strategies of rural development and specific paths are put forward to provide instructive suggestions for the planning and economic construction of rural revitalization in Lixin County.
