With the rapid development of social politics,economy and culture,the industry insiders are increasingly intensified,which has led to the gradual improvement of the ability requirements of enterprises for employees,increased the work and life pressure of enterprise employees,reduced the physical and mental health level of enterprise employees,depression,anxiety,manic,overwork,and sudden death phenomena continue to occur,thus affecting the performance level of enterprises in today’s society.As the main force of the enterprise,grass-roots employees are the cornerstone of the normal development of the enterprise.Grass-root employees are the direct practitioners and implements of the implementation of corporate policies and measures.They play the role of the backbone in the development of the enterprise.Therefore,how to relieve the grass-roots employees from the complicated personal problems,reduce the pressure of their work and life,and maintain their mental health has become an important issue for contemporary managers.Employee Assistance Program(EAP)originated from the professional guidance campaign organized and promoted by Frank Parsons in Boston,USA in 1908.It is mainly used to solve the psychological barriers caused by the influence of alcohol,drug and bad drugs on employees.EAP can provide strategic psychological consultation,identify and solve problems for employees and enterprises to create an effective and healthy working environment.By eliminating or improving various factors that may affect employee performance through employee assistance,it can increase the cohesion of the organization and improve the business performance of the enterprise.Therefore,it is very realistic and necessary to study EAP.ZD Steel Pipe Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as ZD Company)is one of the top ten key supporting enterprises of HD City in 2020,one of the top 500 manufacturing enterprises in China,one of the top 500 private enterprises company in China,and one of the national high-tech enterprises.In 2022,the company achieved annual sales of more than 15 billion yuan.At present,ZD company has certain advantages in production technology,equipment,product brand,etc.,but the company still has problems such as poor quality and work efficiency of grassroots employees,poor working family relations,difficult career promotion,high work pressure,low autonomy,and tense interpersonal relationships,which to some extent affect the operating efficiency of ZD company.Therefore,based on the actual situation of ZD Company,this thesis adopts the questionnaire form and analyze the grass-roots employees of ZD Company from six dimensions of psychological capital,career development,management style,stress management,interpersonal communication and work family relationship and deeply excavates the problems of the grass-roots employees of ZD Company in terms of work pressure,work-family conflict,interpersonal relationship,etc,Then design an employee assistance plan that is in line with the actual situation of ZD Company.The plan covers the implementation objectives,implementation principles,preparation,service mode,service content,implementation process,specific content design,effect evaluation and acceptance,etc.,with a view to stimulating the work enthusiasm of grass-roots employees through the employee assistance plan,improving the cohesion of grass-roots employees,and ensuring the long-term healthy and sustainable development of ZD Company.
