| The level of a country’s manufacturing industry directly reflects its productivity level.In China,manufacturing is an important support for the economy.However,after more than 40 years of rapid development,China’s manufacturing industry is gradually losing its original advantages.Faced with dual pressures from both external and internal sources,China’s manufacturing industry urgently needs to undergo transformation and upgrading to adapt to the new international development situation.At present,China’s economy has entered a stage of high-quality development,with the rapid development of productive services.Service factors continue to penetrate into various industries,and the national economic structure is constantly adjusted.The new trend of industrial integration is becoming increasingly prominent.The integration of the service industry and manufacturing industry has brought new vitality to the manufacturing industry.As one of the branches of the service industry,the circulation industry has always been a link between production and consumption.It plays a very important role in reducing transaction costs in the manufacturing industry and improving the operational efficiency of the manufacturing industry.How to quantitatively measure the promoting effect of the integration of circulation and manufacturing industries on the development of the manufacturing industry? Furthermore,it is necessary to clarify to what extent the integration of logistics and manufacturing can affect manufacturing and its upgrading,so as to accurately grasp the relationship between logistics and manufacturing,and apply it in formulating industrial policies for manufacturing development.This will broaden the industrial boundaries of policy formulation,improve the efficiency of industrial policies,and promote manufacturing upgrading and high-quality economic development from multiple perspectives and levels.This thesis first summarizes and proposes the impact mechanism of the integration of the circulation industry and manufacturing industry on the upgrading of the manufacturing industry based on the research and sorting of relevant literature on industrial integration and manufacturing upgrading.Secondly,the coupling coordination model is used to calculate the integration level of various industries in the circulation and manufacturing industries from 2009 to 2020,and the measurement results of the integration level are compared and analyzed.Afterwards,a manufacturing upgrading evaluation system is constructed from three aspects:manufacturing efficiency,manufacturing efficiency,and manufacturing energy environment.The entropy method is used to calculate the level of manufacturing upgrading.Subsequently,an empirical model was established to verify the positive impact of the integration of the circulation and manufacturing industries on the upgrading of the manufacturing industry,and further analysis was conducted on the differences in the impact of the integration of the two industries on the upgrading of different factor manufacturing industries.Finally,propose policy recommendations based on the results.Through research and analysis,this thesis finds that: firstly,the level of integration between the distribution industry and manufacturing industry and the level of upgrading of manufacturing industry in China is increasing,and there is also industry variability in the level of integration between the two industries and the level of upgrading of manufacturing industry.Second,from the overall level,the integration of distribution industry and manufacturing industry has a significant positive impact on the upgrading of manufacturing industry in China.From the industry level,there is industry heterogeneity in the promotion effect of the integration of the two industries on the upgrading of manufacturing industry,and the intensity of its promotion effect is in the order of technology-intensive manufacturing industry,capitalintensive manufacturing industry and labor-intensive manufacturing industry.Third,the integration of the two industries will indirectly promote the upgrading of manufacturing industry through technological innovation.Fourth,the control variables foreign direct investment and human capital have significant promotion effects on manufacturing upgrading,and industry scale,ownership structure have insignificant effects on manufacturing upgrading. |
