Chinese listening and speaking is a multiple skill practice course, collecting the listening and speaking. Because of the audio-visual and interest of the multimedia technology, it has been found of the majority of teachers and students of all ages. The theory research on this type of course has made a lot progress, but compared with other courses, its textbooks still need to strengthen the research in practice.Combined with the previous scholars in this area, this paper selected the exercise part of the third volume of the families with children, first volumes of "Happy Chinese" and "China city" Tourism Discourse in the three senior Chinese audio-visual as objects to make a comprehensive study, made some comparison, analysis and discussion.This paper consists of five parts, the first part is the introduction, the research reason, research content and research methods.The second part is the comparative research of the quantity and type of the the three textbooks. We believe that the exercise should account for a large proportion of the entire book, the three part of the understanding, plot, communication of the exercise should maintain a reasonable proportion, the total of the exercises should be sufficient to meet the learners’needs, instead of pursuit the form of quantity. In the comparative study of questions, we find that the questions in the pursuit of diversification. At the same time, it should be clear the main questions and the secondary questions.The third part is the comparison and study of three textbooks on the content of the. Audio-visual teaching materials of listening practice should pay attention to the training of the learners’ability of understanding the whole text, the ability of expression by paragraph and the ability of the correct use.The fourth part is the insufficiency of the design and the related suggestions of the three textbooks. The last part is the conclusion.
