With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, human resources as reflectorganizational competitive advantage resources is becoming more and more attention bythe enterprise, government and society, the professional role and civil servants andendowed with public power, take the special mission of public service, civil servants ofthe public administrative ability close relations with social economic developmentspeed, quality of citizens’ lives. In order to improve the quality of civil servants,therefore, in order to achieve the goal of public administration, the career managementrefers to the important position of human resource management, strengthen theinteraction between the individuals and organizations based on civil servants careermanagement is under way.At the same time, along with the continuous improvement of the civil servicesystem, a growing number of female civil servants to civil servant team, widelyapplicable to male civil servants career management way show unfair, no matter fromtheory to social policy or practice with deep gender mark. In the1960s thedevelopment of feminism, women get rid of the social relations of the subordinate male,changing the concept of social gender, reshape the social gender relations, set up newsocial gender relations provides favorable conditions, but women are still faced with thetraditional gender discrimination, work-family conflict, promote high threshold, theproblem such as fewer opportunities for advancement, career development path twists.Therefore, in this paper, according to the characteristics of women themselves tofemale civil servants in Chongqing as the research object, from a gender perspective tounderstand women problems existing in the management of civil servants in career,reveals a gender to female civil servants career management process, the influence ofthe perfect female civil servants career management countermeasures are put forwardsuggestions, to promote China’s civil service system and the continuous improvement ofthe related system between men and women.
