Awareness?Treatment And Control Of Hypertension Results From The Screening Of Adults In Emin,Xinjiang

Objective: To coordinate more efforts to control hypertension and cardiovascular disease(CVD),we estimated awareness,treatment and control of hypertension in Emin Xinjiang.Methods: From 2014 to 2016,we surveyed 47040 adults of Emin(population 1/3)for hypertension screening.We compared the hypertension awareness,treatment and control with different population and blood pressure and related factors to the control rate.Results: 47040 adults were screened,48.5% were women.Hypertension awareness,treatment and control,awareness treatment rate and treatment control rate were 64.3%,44.3%,15.2%,69% and 34.4%;Women's hypertension awareness,treatment and control was significantly higher than men,and increased with the increase of age;Kazakh's control(11.9%vs18.3%)and treatment control rate(26.7%vs42.0%)was lower than the Han;College and higher treatment control rate(42.6%vs37.2%?30.8%?37.5%)was higher than primary and lower,junior high and senior high.The control(13.8%vs15.7%,15.2%)and treatment control rate(23.9%vs37.9%,35.7%)in pastoral area were lower than those in agricultural and urban area.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that overweight(OR=1.19),obesity(OR=1.24),smoking(OR=1.82)and drinking(OR=2.99)were the influencing factors of hypertension control rate.Compared to the non control population,SBP was decreased by 13 mmHg and DBP was decreased by 5mm Hg in the control.Conclusion: Hypertension prevention and control is significantly higher than that in the past in Xinjiang,but 66% of patients in treatment were still not effectively controlled.Hypertension prevention and treatment aimed at men,< 45 years,Kazakh and pastoral areas.Control of alcohol drinking,smoking and body weight may be at high priority of health promotion.
