Emotional intelligence is one of the hot topics in contemporary psychology researches.With the development of the concept of emotional intelligence,people began to realize the important role emotional intelligence plays in people's life.And it is also believed that compared with emotional intelligence,intelligence quotient could be more effective in deciding whether children can succeed in their work,study and life.During the development process of emotional intelligence in preschool period,the age of four is both a significant transitional period and an important age in forming children's emotional intelligence.Therefore,an exploratory discussion on the evaluation of children's emotional intelligence has a great practical significance.This research is on the basis of the five aspects(The ability of cognitive self emotion,self emotion management,self motivation,cognitive others' emotions and interpersonal skills)of Daniel Goleman's theory of emotional intelligence,the five core competence(Understanding of self?self management?self motivation?identify the emotions of others?interpersonal)of international SEL on.social emotion competence,children's parents and preschool teachers' understanding of their experience in the development of children's emotional intelligence and consult psychology experts in theoretical construction and entries writing of the scale.It divided children's emotional intelligence into eight aspects originally.The eight aspects are self-confidence,independence,the sense of responsibility,problem solving,empathy,emotional management,interpersonal communication and etiquette.And adopt the way of his comments on young children's emotional intelligence development to measure.According to the data analysis,the results indicate that,the product moment correlation between each item and the total cents is all above 0.40.The internal consistency reliability of the full scale is 0.912 and the split-half reliability is 0.847.The dimensions of internal consistency coefficient are between 0.466 and 0.863.All of the factors are above 0.748 in spite of factor 5 and factor 6.Because of the small amount of examination questions in each subscale,the internal consistency coefficient in subscales has been affected to some extent.In general,the internal consistency coefficient is acceptable.Through the exploratory factor analysis,selecting six factors whose characteristic root is greater than one.They are emotional management,self-confidence,independence,the sense of responsibility,etiquette and interpersonal communication.57.026%of the total variance.According to the confirmatory factor analysis,the test results show that the measured data fits well with the scale construction.the Conclusion is that the emotional intelligence scale of four years old children is of high reliability and fair validity and indicates good fit of theoretical structure of the scale which could be used as the instrument in children's emotional intelligence.
