Safety management system is involved lots of factors, such as people, machines, objects, materials, environment, etc. Safe state and human interaction embodies in the mutual adaptation. Although the device, systems of the organization, technology and material mean are important to the safety, the safe quality of human is a top priority.The study on safety occupation aptitude is a pioneering work; the results of this research can be used for accident prevention, safety management. And they can be also used for preventing and reducing human errors, improving human-machine interfaces, improving work efficiency; they can also be used to evaluate people's safe quality and supply useful methods for personnel selection. To get perfect safety, the following issues are counted:measuring people's safety ability and their mental load, discussing people's abilities of self-protecting and maintaining the safety of machines, goods, materials, environment, especially exploring how to distribute and use of this ability in the actual activities. Therefore, safety occupation aptitude has great research value and practice significance.This dissertation is the fruit of the author' research and study during doctorate time. The dissertation proposed the two components of the safety occupation aptitude and made in-depth research on this issue with the application of ergonomics, safety psychology, and psychometric theories. The two components of the safety occupation aptitude are ability adaptability and mental adaptability. Then, the dissertation explores the basic elements and key quality indicators of the safety occupation aptitude. Using the mental workload measurement methods and psychological resource model, the dissertation proposed psychological resource model of the safety occupation aptitude.The following aspects are studied in this dissertation:(1)Based on the analysis of the literature, the dissertation defined the key word which involved in this study, including safety occupation aptitude, psychological load, and psychological resources. Besides the viewpoint of the two components of the safety occupation aptitude, the dissertation made deep research on the relationship among safety occupation aptitude, psychological load and psychological resources, and proposed the safety occupation aptitude module based on the psychological resources.(2) With the application of special vocational adaptability evaluation method and consulting the power enterprises reality, the dissertation studied the ability adaptability of the electrical operating workers in particular. Based on the six key indicators of the safety abilities, which are accuracy, attention, rapid response capability; proficiency of the skills, judgment ability and foresight, the author discussed the basic meaning and its evaluation of safety ability aptitude.(3) With the application of mental workload measurement methods in ergonomics, combining with the research and the power enterprises reality, the studies mental adaptability of the electrical operating workers through the operation votes and psychological load analysis. By comparing the correlative research results of different power plants and substations, the author further clarify the distribution of the psychological resources is reflected by the mental load state.(4)Based on the comparative analysis of different psychological resource model, the author got the conclusion that application and distribution of the psychological resources can determine the safety occupation aptitude, and proposed the corresponding psychological resource model used for the safety occupation aptitude studies.(5) Through the questionnaires investigation and analysis of the psychological load measurement data, the results verified the basic content and the evaluative nature of the safety occupation aptitude. They also proved that the six key indicators of the safety abilities can be used to evaluate the capabilities adaptability of the electrical operators. The investigation also verified that the safety occupation aptitude can be reflected by the psychological load, and can also be studied by the building of the psychological resources model.
