Forest investigate is an important part in the work of forest, for example,continuous check and sampling, the method of statistic make great effect onthe work of forest. With the development of the forestry, useful informationintelligently abstracted from mass forestry data have been widely applied. Thisis the problem of the priority of the information. The priority of informationmeans the extraction of interesting (non-trivial, implicit, previously unknownand potentially useful) patterns or knowledge from huge amount of data. Thepriority of information can discover interesting patterns from large amounts ofdata, which is a natural evolution of information technology, in great demand,with wide application. The method of assessment on the priority of informationis using alternant index,frequency index and so on to describe the fettle ofmuch index and alternant domino effect, so that more information can beconcluded from the method.On the basis of the upper background, the analysis and assessment onthe data of forest inventory in zhejiang province is provided in this dissertation.There are mainly three parts in this dissertation. Firstly, the theory and methodof information is introduced in the dissertation. Secondly, the data of forestresources in zhejiang province is assessed and classed by the method of thepriority of information. Lastly, the application of the method of the priority ofinformation is summed up.During the second part, there are three sections.Firstly, The application of the priority of information based on related rules onthe relation of physiognomy, the type of land, the type of vegetation, age, thecategory of forest, the structure of community, the structure of the type of tree,the thickness of the land,chest circumference, height and canopy density, therank of health of trees is discussed.Secondly, the data of forest resources inzhejiang province has been classed and assessed by EM algorithm,AGNESalgorithm,DBSCAN algorithm and CDBSCAN designed by myself based onthe priority of information. The result has been compared with the originalconclusion and the result has a high accuracy so that the priority of theinformation algorithm has been proved feasible. Thirdly, the data of forestresource in zhejiang province has been classed about the rank of health byC4.5 algorithm based on the priority of information algorithm. The result showthat classification and assessment has different mode of dealing with data. Lastly, this paper points out challenges of data mining, summarizes thework of this paper and the work in the future.There are some productions as fellows:(1) The priority of information algorithm has been used in forest and thedata of forest resources in zhejiang province has been analyzed andexplored.(2) The theory and method of the priority of information algorithm has beenexplored and the method of computing has been improved on in theactual application.(3) Studies show that the priority of information algorithm is an importantmethod in the analysis of data, especially in investigation factor of forestresources. The area of application could be extended in the range ofinvestigation factor.(4) This dissertation focus on the extending and improving on of the method,some analysis of investigation factor of forest resources need moreresearch.
