Purpose: Probe into the mechanism of immediate result ofscalp-acupuncture on acute cerebral infarction at the point ofneurophys io l ogy. Methods: Duplicate acute cerebral infarction model on Wistarby means of Zea-longa. Take scalp-acupuncture as therapy method.Select neuron discharge lying in different region around theinfarction as observing norm which can be observed the variationof neuron discharge before and after acute cerebral infarction aswell as after scalp-acupuncture.Results: @The electric activity of neuron was inhibited at theearly stage of cerebral infarction. @ Scalp-acupuncture hasobvious regulation on inhibited neuron after acute cerebralinfarction .@The regulation of sca1p-acupuncture on acute cerebralinfarction has the characteristic of immediate result. @Scalp-acupuncture will be good to the electric activity ofneuron through two-way regulation.Conclution: In general, the results of experiment indicatesthat treating acute cerebral infarction with scalp-acupuncturetherapy at early stage will have good regulation andprotection on injured neuron.
