With the globalization development of manufacturing, network and informationtechnology, as well as the diversification, multi-level and multiple forms fiercecompetition of the international economic and trade, the requirements of customer arechanged from the cost to the product quality. At the same time, with the developmentof genetic engineering technology, gene technologies are widely applied in the fieldof design, manufacturing and quality management. Based on this, in this paper, wewill go along this direction to study genetic engineering and propose a quality genemodel for quality control in the building materials equipment manufacturingprocessing. The main research work can be summarized as the following aspects:(1) Propose a product quality gene model for the building materials equipment.Firstly, based on the analysis of the gene’s biological significance, the similaritybetween mechanical products and organisms on the composition, evolution, behavior,the diagnosis and treatment are discussed; Then the contend of the product qualitygene, such as product quality genetic data structure, the quality of the product map,product quality gene encoding system are illustrated; Finally, the characteristics of theproduct quality gene heredity and variation for the building materials and equipment,and the method of quality gene storage and retrieval are analyzed, respectively.(2) Put forwards a quality diagnosis model based on product quality gene. First ofall, on the basis of the analysis for the building materials equipment manufacturingprocess quality problems with quality gene theory, the concept of product qualitygene diagnosis similarity are put forward; Then, the weitht between fault gene andcase gene in the diagnositic knowledge base are optimizated by particle swarmalgorithm, so that improve the accuracy of the calculation; Finally, the bearing bodyof rotary kiln are as a case to describe the feasibility of the method.(3) Bulid a quality improvement model for the building materials equipmentmanufacturing process based on product quality gene. Using genetic algorithm tooptimized the parameters in the process of quality improvement, and detaileddiscussed the methods for fitness function, heredity and mutation probability in thegenetic algorithm. Finally, the tube mill barrel are as a case to verify the method.(4) According to the quality prediction problem in the building materials equipment manufacturing process, a product quality prediction method based on theproducts quality gene and GM(1,1) model are put forward. The concept of"minimum quality gene sets" are proposed by building the mapping betweencustomer demand parameter set and product quality gene, and the AHP (analytichierarchy process) is used to optimize the reference sequence of GM (1,1) model, toimprove the precision of analysis. Finally, driving wheel is as a case to analyze themethod.(5) Develop the quality control system based on the product qulaity gene theoryfollowing the product manufacturing process of the building material equipmententerprises in quality management. And describe the system’s development andoperation environment, discusses the design and their functions of the main modules.
