Research On Pig Farmers’ Willingness Between Cognitive Structure And Scale Selection

Animal husbandry occupies an important position in China’s agriculture, one of the biggest in the pig industry and animal husbandry industry, by the end of 2014, still account for 66.4% of China’s meat production of pork production.China has been a pig production and consumption power, but not the pig industry power.Mainly because of the development of Chinese pig scale level is too low, affects the economic benefits of pig breeding and food safety, and a series of problems, therefore, to strengthen the construction of pig scale level, to promote the economic benefits of the farmers and the international competitiveness of China’s pig industry has important significance.In order to study the cause of the slow development of Chinese pig scale, domestic scholars have done a lot of in terms of the factors affecting the development of the scale of research, but mainly in the scale of external constraints of the development of the research of live pigs, and farmers personality characteristics the impact on the scale.Most of these studies are some surface factors research, so the conclusion can’t be touched the essence problem, maybe some conclusions to develop large-scale pig has a certain role in promoting, but is not enough in-depth study.Because all problems ultimately depends on the development of large-scale pig farming, farmers, farmers only study inner cognitive and views, just may touch the essence of the large-scale development.In this paper, based on the knowledge economy theory, behavior theory and game system theory as the foundation, first of all, from the perspective of evolution economics of pig farmers have a history of cognitive structure, logic analysis, expounds the basic features of Chinese farmers cognitive structure;And then combining with the system of game theory, analysis of different cognitive structure of the farmers and the evolution of organizational structure matching method, evolved farmers may adopt various cultivation mode and influence factors, explore the pig farmers in terms of choice of scale formation mechanism.In this paper, a total of nine parts, the content of the research and summary of the conclusion are as follows:Part 1 is introduction, mainly elaborated the realistic background and theoretical basis of this study.First is to describe the reality of farmers is relatively common in the choice to scale a trouble phenomenon, raises pigs in our country large-scale long-term development lags behind one of the important reasons, to determine the purpose of this study and the main train of thought, and the possible innovation place was summarized and concluded.Part 2 is a literature review of traditional theory of scale economy.Mainly reviews the theories of scale economy of classical theory, and expounds the existing scale economic theory the limitations of this research question, thus put forward the improvement of the present study.Part 3 is the analysis of the cognitive structure of knowledge paradigm.This part is the theoretical basis for this paper to improve research perspectives, define the canonical form of knowledge about the basic concept of cognitive structure related, as well as the relations between the basic concepts.Then with the knowledge paradigm on the cognitive structure of farmers has carried on the system description.Part 4 is based on analysis of the organizational structure of knowledge paradigm.First of all, based on the system of game theory analysis of organizational structure;Then according to the characteristic of the Chinese farmers organization structure, divided into two kinds of organization structure mode, employment and family;Finally, on the basis of the analysis of the structure combined with farmers human resource types of analysis, the experience and the cognitive structure of science-based human resource types, and family and employment type organization structure to analyze the evolution game.Part 5 is the scale of risk awareness.This part mainly from knowledge paradigm to explore farmers cognitive structure is different, in the process of the development of large-scale, the cognitive level of the feeling of the scale of risk is different also.From the cognitive perspective, the farmers scale risk cognition is not only to the risk from its dimensions to measure the quantity, but also from the time dimension and spatial dimension.Part 6 is the conceptual model and research hypothesis.The theory analysis is the basis of the concept model of the part according to the theoretical framework of game system, based on knowledge paradigm puts forward the concept of farmers cognition structure and the choice of scale model, this model involves the farmers individual characteristics, the farmers of risk of cognition, and large-scale pig organization structure and related influence factors, and according to the logical relationship of the conceptual model, put forward the corresponding research hypothesis.Part 7 is the research design.First is examined three factors is used to describe the reliability and validity of the cognitive structure variables;Then the measurement of the variables is illustrated, and the logical relationship between various variables are verified, finally it is concluded that after testing the various variable relationship diagram.Part 8 is the hypothesis validation and interpretation.Mainly according to the concept of possible logic relation between variables in the model, put forward a series of assumptions proposition, and in view of the proposition on the basis of the study design, straighten out the real logic relationship between variables, then the assumption thesis carried out in accordance with the classification step by step according to the statistics test, and draw the corresponding test results.In the validity of the conceptual model, on the basis of fully recognized for validation and interpretation of the assumption proposition. 9 are reviewed part is the conclusion and policy coupling.Proposition according to validate the assumptions and the logic relation between the variables, different cognitive structure of farmers in mass selection is deduced on the logical conclusion, the research conclusion to correctly understand China’s long-term and particularity of pig scale development, it has a positive reference value.And put forward the corresponding policy recommendations in view of the conclusion.Finally this thesis research deficiency and the later research direction also were briefly described.The main conclusions are as follows: first, farmers cognitive structure is the logical starting point of all the scale development problems.Improve the level of science-based cognitive structure degree of farmers, is the key to realize the large-scale development. Second, to experience and cognitive structure of science-based farmers on the natural risk and risk dimensions less social risk there was no significant difference in cognitive aspects, but the price in the market and government policies such as the cognition of the social risk has a significant difference. Third, to experience the cognitive structure of pig farmers degree can only enhance the scale of risk control level, but cannot improve scale selection level.Fourth, have working experience of young farmers to expand scale will tend to be more intense.Fifth, elderly farmers engaged in pig breeding, the live pig epidemic disease and epidemic prevention of risk control level is higher, but not so it can improve the choice of scale level.Sixth, farmers education level is not high and the pig years long and partial area, often is not suitable for development of rural cooperative organizations and large scale farming.Seventh, the positive government regulation and control policy, which is beneficial to the development of the scale number of live pigs, but you can’t improve the quality of large-scale development.Eighth, pig farmers risk cognitive level on the management of personnel is the key to realize the second-pollution scale performance.Ninth, as the growth of the scale, pig farmers on the risk cognition of environmental issues more seriously.The tenth, depend on the organization structure innovation at present stage is not an effective way to solve the pig scale development in China.The main innovation points of this research:On the research perspective, based on the cognitive structure of farmers as the parameter variables for pig farmers behavior research analysis, the theory of cognitive science has break through the traditional paradigm of new classical economics theory, is an exploratory research, it also introduces the knowledge economy and the system of game theory, the research Angle of view is still a new train of thought in the existing literature.On the research content, first is the measure of farmers cognition structure, cognitive structure is a kind of psychological status in cognitive science, its measurement itself is a difficult point, because it cannot be measured directly.This research is based on the theory of knowledge economy, through cognitive way of indirect measure of cognitive structure, and through the test reliability and validity.As a result, the cognitive structure of the measure of this study is a big breakthrough.Second, is the division of types of large-scale risk, this is mainly in order to meet the needs of the cognitive structure analysis, based on knowledge paradigm will risk is divided into natural risk and social risk.Game system in the end, based on the analysis of different types of human resources and organizational structure of cognitive structure has carried on the evolutionary game analysis, the system of different categories of classification, for later in-depth analysis provides the guarantee on the concept.
