During the past years of thirties and eighties in twentieth century, two times had China tried to study from the idea of Bauhaus in education. More researches agree that cognitive psychology is really the most important element in the future of design. The way to fulfill the cognitive psychology would be the actions on expand the conception of functionsMany studies have been conducted with cognitive psychology, but a perfect way to promote design abilities is to follow design character and separate it into three different kind of functions, which is technology function, guide user interface (GUI) function and cognitive psychology function. And then designers do their works in technology workshops, guide user interface (GUI) workshops and cognitive psychology workshops. Technology workshop, which is researching of using some basic research about the technology material, production for design. The GUI workshop which is researching the way to express technology productions to the customers in a better vision way. The cognitive psychology workshop is researching the cognitive of customs joy. The result of these three kinds of workshop should be mixed.Although many studies have already been performed, more studies are needed to determine the effects of technology, GUI and cognitive psychology on promoting design ability to match the development of information science.One reason is that once as the Chinese industry system had build up, the design would sure develop along the idea of the typical Bauhaus idea -combine of art and technology. Because of this reason, Chinese design followed the idea that combine of art and technology, and then Chinese design had also used the science of ergonomics, gestalt and product semantics into their design education theories. The purpose of this study was to combine the art , technology and humanism in design, and to find out the way of how to develop an education in the universities of China.
