The Influence Of Three Major Design Schools On "Bauhaus" Formation

As everyone knows,the Bauhaus was a school of design established completely forthe development of design education.It has made outstanding contribution for the moderndesign and modern design education.The establishment of the Bauhaus design style andthe forming of its design education was not abrupt,also was not necessary.The DeutscherWerkbund,the Russian Constructivism,’De Stijl’ which Produced at the beginning of20thCentury played a decisive role on the development of Bauhaus’s14years.Of course,therewas no Bauhaus’s achievement if without the open mind of the Bauhaus’s teachers andstudents,if without the those outstanding teachers and studentsabsorbed,integrated,innovated the most advanced design concepts,especially these threedesign schools.This paper introduces the influence of three design schools’ informationfor the modern design and befor,after the formation of the Bauhaus.The DeutscherWerkbund have done the groundwork for the formation of the Bauhaus designconcept,also trained a large number of design and education talents for the Bauhaus; TheRussian Constructivism concept of service for the proletariat and all art services for thesocial and industrial construction,futher promoted the Bauhaus’s Design features offocused on Materal application,concise,practical,design for the public,and also promotedthe slogan of the new unity of art and technology.‘�'ХУТЕМАС’ which in order to theRussian Constructivism theory and constructivist as the main position,produced positiveeffects on The Bauhaus’s design teaching,it made the basic teaching of Bauhaus moreperfect. The pioneering spirit of ’De Stijl’ integrated art elements and design influencedthe intergrating of Bauhaus’s art creation and design.At last, clarify the Bauhaus interatedand futher developed the design idea and teaching method of the three schools From theBauhaus own teaching and artistic creation.
